Did I seriously miss 2 days? and now, today, the 8th, is the third day? Haa...

Continuing 30 Days of Seiyuu meme.

Day 15: Your favorite role from your favorite female seiyuu

Ok, I did the male version the last time. So now it's for the female version.

I'll go with Katsuki Masako instead. Mmm, a lot of people, if they wanted to correlate any character with the name Katsuki Masako, they'd usually say Reccoa, Celi, Maria, Hilda, Tsunade, Michiru/Neptune, Tiara, Samantha.

I'm more familiar with Michiru and Tsunade. They're in long series, but Michiru probably shows more interesting scenes.

I enjoy Tsunade's anger fits and strong voice, but because of the direction of the anime, she doesn't often get a chance to show off her fiery ambition and attachment to her companions as much as Michiru Kaioh does. Tsunade is also pretty straight-forward.

GANYMEDE, who had a michiru/neptune fansite, could explain it loads better than I can. The Talisman Reveal episode is popular; Michiru has a voice that can be calm and girly cute when teasing her "most trusted partner" Haruka/Uranus, or when reflecting on her mission on taking a life. On the other hand, Michiru can also shout in great concern for her partner (or when she's getting hurt ^-^:). And they're both a gay couple, and that's still amazing. Ogata Megumi seemed to have really loved K's performance.

Sailor Moon itself is an interesting series.

I don't know Maria, Tiara, and Hilda that much to nominate them. I enjoy Katsuki's singing in the the Maria Trapp SDTK, but it isn't much to hear.

And omg, the Michiru/Haruka fans are....I don't know if it's "amazing" or "crazy".

So I'll say Michiru.

Keeping up a good pace on my memes; "Doggie Week" is tomorrow or Tuesday. I should make that a "tag".

I am tired.

For tonight, going to briefly talk about gundam. JUST LIKE the seiyuu meme, I found a "30 Days on Gundam" meme, but I don't think I can do it at the moment. Maybe next year? Maybe in 2013, when everything has settled down, and I end up wherever, I'll have watched plenty of gundam. Cause I just started Zeta. Day 1 and Day 2 I should be able to answer easily, but the rest...seems to be for veterans.

30 Days of Gundam Meme )

Also, I learned how to create a Lj-spoiler! I am quite slow...

Now I don't have to use the "highlight to read" technique.

MS IGLOO Recollection
There are two parts of MS IGLOO, and a 3-episode sequel "Gravity Front". I have no idea what IGLOO could possibly mean. There doesn't seem to be a single hint. When I first heard about it, I thought maybe it was a mobile armor. In MOST cases, the title of a gundam work is named after a machine, a group, or a year. Like there's G (God) Gundam, there's W (Wing) Gundam, Gundam AGE, F91, Z (Zeta) Gundam, ZZ (double Zeta), etc. 08th MS Team is based on what is says: The 08th Mobile Suit unit commanded by Shiro Amada. SEED...there's only SEED mode.

The first two parts are called "Hidden One Year War" and Apocalypse 0079", both centering around the actions of an engineering squad of Zeon whose number and full designation I can barely remember. Olivier May is in charge of evaluating the machines and reporting about there at the end of the each ep. Turns out, as the One Year War progresses, these machines are conveyed as "obsolete" or "not that useful". In the first ep, the Jomangund anti-ship cannon, but is it out shined by the mobile suit Zaku forces.

Ogg (I think) is the Zeon Rival to the Federation's Ball, but were piloted by a ton of rookies. Not that regrettable. They also designed a Mobile Diver, a machine to perform atmospheric re-try to shoot down missiles.

If I know one thing, if you're a pilot to one of these machines, you're going to die. There's a death in a single episode. Heck, death really really revolves around this entire series, especially MS IGLOO 2. But hey, it's gundam. It's war, and you totally got to die in this franchise.

For MS IGLOO 2, we are taken to the Federation's point of view. Very reminiscent of a war movie, especially with the CGI. Ben Barberry looks like a familiar actor, or someone you'd usually see acting as a main role in a war film? Anyways, I found MS IGLOO 2 a little...scary. Each main character was touched by a Death God (impersonate as a beautiful female floating around), and each one just had a terrible trauma. And they really...lose their sanity.

Actually, I think Ben (first ep main character) was very unlucky. The last two are insane because they carried a grudge. It's just awful to watch.

Zeta Gundam
Starts off rough. Kamille Bidan (Nobuo Tobita!) is the main character, and he shows newtype potential quite early in the show, but he seems to be from Earth? Kamille hates the TITANS for some reasos. Oh yeah, he is quite a rebellious jerk. Still, it's strange for him to jump out a jeep and to leave home to join AEUG. Or maybe I am not understanding something?

The TITANS are not-so-nice people. In Gundam 00, there are the A-LAWS; an autonomous force, the TITANS committed themselves to oppressing/destroying the Zeon movement, utilizing radical means to do so such as attacking a colony with poison gas. TITANS work for the Federation though; Kamille's parents seem to work for the TITANS, and Kamille criticized his dad about a mistress he's been working with.

The show doesn't start off happy at all like I said. Kamille's attitude and the TITANS's cruel way of getting their way makes the start interesting. OK

Day 09: A seiyuu you'd rather not watch in anything

This sounds like another "what/who do you dislike" type of question.

No preferences on the "who"; again, I like voice overs. But I prefer to avoid the hentai...the impression that it leaves can be traumatic.

Continuing 30 Days of Seiyuu meme

Day 08:The seiyuu you find hardest to recognize

I really don't know. It could be anyone. The point is not to be recognized, it is to act and see another character. I guess when I see a show with a bunch of young girls and boys, the thought of trying to recognize anyone is not on my mind.

"Everyone nearly sounds the same" I think. If Saiga Mitsuki plays a sad boy or a happy boy, so can someone else.

I often find myself having to look at the cast list.
doggiedynasty: (u so fun-neh)
I have two days of the seiyuu meme that I have to do, but I'm blogging about something else.

I define "rant" as criticism with extreme emotion. I'm not that angry today though, but I'm just ....bloated?

I'm surprised that it's Friday; nothing happened last night, but I felt like something needed to get out of my system.

I guess it started on Plurk where I was introducing myself to those who recently added me to their friend list. As I did, my roleplaying game history crossed my mind. When you're young, you can develop faster, but you don't have much to stand on. Not much knowledge and comprehension. Online, I started off in D&D; years later, I entered text-based play-by-post games. The majority of my RPing was online; but, I enjoyed writing before that.

And it was just a terrible experience. The beginnings were terrible; chatroom was terrible.

All of this was inspired by some uneasy thought I had last night. We should prevent "psychological scars". Why do you think people grow up as jerks because they learn that from others. They end up unforgiving, and assume that payback and showing off your chest is better than anything.

I really have a trigger for pompousness. For arrogance. If I want to thank those guys from the online RP games for something, that is to learn not behave the same way.

But this isn't restricted to just "gaming", but communities as a whole. Maybe that's why I was bothered last night because I received too many online abuse. Fighting for my defense, the result doesn't end up in my favor.

Now I believe that I can't debate or think out of the box, that I can't express my thoughts safely, that my words are too confusing, that I have little logic, and that I can't fix any of it.

Or maybe I just hate to lose, and being told that I'm wrong, virtually all the time.

When I say the words "maybe" and "but" too much, it shows a lot of uncertainty.

What is right and wrong?
doggiedynasty: (Sad)
Wada or Kada?

August is almost over.

This is Wada (Hua Tao) of Koihime Musou, voiced by Hiyama Nobuyuki (see tag). He'll say stuff along the lines of "BECOME BETTEEEEEEER!"

The sign on the desk (my memory is FAILING!) says "medical king" (医者王; ishaoh), a reference to Yuushaoh Gaogaigar (A show that Hiyama voices in). Like Wakamoto Norio and various others, Hiyama's characters are inclined to becoming video memes.

Because of the recent NARUTO (comic) hype, I'm nearly exhausted.

I'mm surprised that it's Wednesday; my desire was to wake up at 6a but I ended up waking up near 9. Wanted to get some typing in, some calls, some writing, because my week has been me being mostly selfish and worried.

Ehh...I'm kind of OK with unemployment, which gives me the focus to do other things. It gives me time to regulate myself and reflect; at the same time, I can get discouraged and my mind conjures up these feelings that say, "I don't want to work". Only because I was getting frustrated.

But I'm quite too young to retire.

RNC
I already talked about this on Plurk, surprised that the result didn't leave my neck ripped out. Because Democrats are the enemy right? Or low informed? Least that's what I'm told to be: Democratic.

In the dictionary, "liberal" is not a government term but is defined in one part as "broad-minded".

Anyways, I had the intention to watch the entire 2nd day (from postponed 1st day) of the Republican National Convention. I took a nap, my mistake, but woke up; listened to some of the convention on the radio.

Anyways, I've decided, since HISTORY IS FUN, I'm going to post info on the U.S Constitution, primarily its amendments (Bill of Rights being first). Since they love to talk about that, and it's going to be a refresh.

Bashing + RP retirement
So, I gave up on a couple of blog RPG games (if I can call them that), explaining that my lack of focus and interactivity in the game occurrences are a burden. I'm not that good in creating topics either.

I hate giving up, but it looks like I just don't have the same influence as other players who can easily gather pals around to play and create scenes. I don't have the same closeness with any person. Plus, maybe my choice also had to do with not only the game genre choice, but trying to completely follow what was important in the game. It felt like a weak point. It's becoming more and more apparent to me. I can turn around, and I'm behind.

Most interactive "impact" that I have is on [livejournal.com profile] srwug_alpha_rp, where I play Bernard Wiseman from War in Pocket.

So, what did I mean by "selfish" at the beginning of this entry?

How should I say this? I don't want to leave Michigan. And I wanted my mother to stay home. She's originally not from America and wants to return to her old home, but I would have to go with her.

I feel like I'm a big loser because I can't find a good place for myself. I wouldn't be able to financially support anything. Again, I need to keep up with the "Doggie is Doggie" mentality and accept it. It's not like life goes the way we want to. I just hate the fact that I feel less mature than usual.

Also, to lose the "family house" (that's what I call it) means to put away all the memories that came from it. And, I can't say that I am the best in long-distance driving. I'm royally screwed if I move out of country. I don't like being in a place where I have no idea where I am.

Also, my dog has to go with another owner. Someone nice is going to take her.

I'm losing precious things.

Others
Trying to convince K-sensei (Katsuki Masako) to play Mario Kart 7, but I can't get the sentence correct.

Hot days...

Friday, I was quite positive and motivated.

Everything went smooth, or normal, until this weekend. Niece receives first burn accident and I felt unnerved throughout the weekend. It also happened so quickly. I tried to stay calm, and tell myself that these things happen often. I often received burns myself from the electric stove, especially hot water from the kettle (being a tea addict), but niece got a scald across her face. So apparently, she had to get shaved a bit and get some bandages.

Should I even drink tea around her again? even though, it wasn't my drink that spilled

I didn't panic as much, considering what I had to go through with my parents. Also, I have a tendency to look up infor on illness and healing to give me comfort.

That kid...that kid actually makes me happy, unlike her mom. My heart is not into liking my sibling at all. I'll be at least patient; I said it before: I have a bad prejudice for teen parents, and I need to be exposed to good examples.

But here's the thing.

Even if she lost all of her hair or couldn't use her arm (arms are fine btw), my niece would still be my niece. You got kids with palsy and other complicated conditions, but they are still your kid. My niece likes to be around me; she hugs my leg, she puts her head on me, she wants me to chase her, she enters my room (and steals), she sees me and grins, begs for my food, etc.

What I don't get is...there's this particular cushion that she likes. I gave it to her, she lays on it and uh...does lewd things with. That's what it looks like anyway ^^;

I was told that she's still talkative and she was trying to take her bandage off ^^; In other words, she's quite herself. I'll go talk to her today. Maybe I'll hear one "auntie" (in baby talk). That'll make me happy.

Let's talk about TV.

Saint Seiya OMEGA has bad ratings (can't pass 2.0?). The fights aren't as long as the original series, but I can get myself to tolerate it. The recent ep highlights Konishi Katsuyuki's character Soma! I think there should be more input pressed into the passion.

I'd like to know the Gundam AGE ratings too, since it's apparently doing bad. Just how bad?

The shows with the highest ratings are primarily the long-running series such as ONE PIECE, Detective CONAN, and Sazae-san.

In the Olympics, U.S Swimmer Michael Phelps is now the most decorated medalist ever. I just question how did he do it. After all these years, we just now see a guy with over ten golds?

We also have now first African American (also quite young, 16), winning the gymnastics. Still, a shock to me. Seeing these young people in the Olympics and achieving greatness.

What songs top in Mario Kart Wii? Do you agree with this list? Coconut Mall is definitely one of my favorites. There are some songs you can't really enjoy because it's flooded by the race car sounds in the game, but Coconut Mall I enjoyed immediately because it's suitable. I just an immediate favorite when I first heard it. It's also a fun level.

I don't think you can completely enjoy the theme of Toad (kinopie) Factory unless you hear it from the actual soundtrack.

Speaking of "greatness", here's a piece of my childhood. Such greatness. I love that he wears a Captain America shirt.

JIM FREAKIN' CUMMINGS!

Because my TV sucks, I went into another room to watch Top 100 Video games on G4TV channel for the first time. Oh, nostalgia. It was great, and watching the nerdy commentaries talk about how great the games are.

I USED TO PLAY OUTRUN! =D I didn't watch everything because it was the same night of niece's accident.

Hi. Well, what's going on? I've been sick.

GAH! IT'S HOT!
It hurts to walk outside.

Health: Dad and me
I'm feeling better, and dad is occasionally in high spirits. Dad has bad blood circulation, which makes him tired, but he is doing good. He could've ended up worse I think. As for me, I don't think I've ever a felt a less stuffy throat in a long time. After getting over most of a cold, I bought a nasal spray. It seems to be doing its job. I am coughing less and I feel less phlegm; however, my throat is still sore and my voice is still hoarse. Today, especially today, it feels like I'm getting a lot of mucus again cause I clear my throat a bit more today.

I guess I still have some more fighting to so. Does my hoarse voice have something to do with it? Still, the less stuffiness is quite good.

My voice might take another week...

Andy Griffith and Me
Another American icon gone. Andy Griffith passed away on July 3rd. For a man with a long career, there would be too much to talk about. I used to watch both the Andy Griffith Show and MATLOCK, the latter being quite entertaining. Even though he's a lawyer, he's like a detective. Can't help but think that way when the events are surrounded by murders and he checks the scenes out. Matlock is also strong in deduction. Couple of things I liked about Matlock was his smarts and his attitude.

Because I haven't watched the Andy Griffith show in a long time, I can't remember. I used to watch reruns with my dad, but that theme song is quite memorable.

All my friends know the lowrider

Sailor Moon Returning
LINK: Sailor Moon Manga Gets New Anime Series in Summer 2013
Momoiro Clover, the group who did the ED for Pokemon: Black & White.

I did enough fangirling yesterday, so I'll just relax and express my thoughts on what a remake could mean. Cause the first show left an impression, I have my doubts. I am happy that a new Sailor Moon can emerge in this new day and age, but should it? This obviously isn't the 90s and the use of CGI has considerably increased. The animation and art may be relatively better, but how about the direction of the story? Maybe I should ask myself why I liked the old Sailor Moon? The first of its kind? Well, it's like Super Sentai, and I like the characters.

People talk about today being the "Moe Era", but aren't the Sailor warriors "moe"? I don't think Japan would do something stupid like make everyone look like Chiba Usa. That's what Pretty Cure is for and it still has an ongoing series. It's also pretty action packed.

I hope they keep the gag. That's definitely one of the things I liked about it. Also, the music. What is the new music going to be like? I loved the music, even in the awful English dub! ~_~; The dub retained the original music I think in Sailor Moon S.

The seiyuu (voice over). Of course, of course. It's probably...impossible to retain the former cast. At least, all of them. I only say that because of the tendencies I see in most shows. Aside from that, I think most of the casts are quite fine in returning to their characters. If not, they may either:

- Play the Senshi's/Scouts' parents. Parents in Japan or from their planets. For example, Mitsuishi Kotono being the new Usagi's mother or maybe even Queen Serenity.

- Play the villains. Whether the important ones, or the poor helpless victims.

It's still too early to talk about and worry over.

A what?
I'm watching GSN (Game Show Network), and there's something called a "Bible Competition"?

I wanted to be a soldier once...but why? Furthermore, would I have had the fortitude and the dedication to be a real soldier? Would I be able to face the social pressure of peers? Would I have another smarts and focus to handle my career?

Being a pilot is quite a demanding task. You have to be an officer, which requires (?) you to have a bachelor's. Or maybe I am wrong? There is officer academy, but I am thinking about the demands of being a fighter pilot.

LINK: Losing a Daughter in Combat

Read more in the link.

It’s tough for most Americans to learn much about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan that the U.S. military has waged since 9/11. So it’s all the more important to pay attention when combat chronicles – and their impact back home – surface.

Anna Simon covered the 2004 death in Iraq of Kimberly Hampton for South Carolina’s The Greenville News. She became friendly with Kimberly’s mother, Ann Hampton, after writing a series of articles about Kimberly. The pair chatted with Battleland via email recently about their book, Kimberly’s Flight: The Story of Captain Kimberly Hampton, America’s First Woman Combat Pilot Killed in Battle:

How did Kimberly N. Hampton die?

Ann Hampton, mother: Kimberly was flying an OH-58D Kiowa Warrior helicopter above the outskirts of Fallujah, Iraq, providing cover for ground troops raiding an illicit weapons marketplace when she was shot down on Jan. 2, 2004.

She chose to lead her troops on a mission she knew would be particularly dangerous. It was a mission others were slated to lead. While her death left her father and me with a hole in our hearts that will never heal, she left a powerful legacy of dedication to her mission, to her troops, and to her country that fills us with pride.

Hello Monday.

On MAL, even though I was hesitant, I typed up my view on GUNDAM AGE after reading some discussions on the forums. I asked myself, "what do I really think of the show??" Despite having difficulty in expressing myself, and little confidence, I went along with the review. I don't do reviews because explaining my jumbled thoughts in words often lead me to embarrassment. It was even tougher to attempt making a review spoiler-free when I'm caught up. And are my thoughts truly real?

For now, I would give it a 6 out of 10. So that's kind of like a 3 out of 5. In letters, that'd be like a C. To me, it's an average show. I don't think it wows me, nor does it give me a lot of emotions. A few, but not a lot.

The main point of AGE is: "A story than spans 3 generations for 100 years." (100年に渡る3世代の物語)

So, what do you think?

More on AGE, spoiler free )

I know one thing, I think it's really lame how they use the veteran voice overs. I swear Yamaguchi Kappei was in the show for like ... 10 seconds. And I think Saiga Mitsuki was a random kid for one or two episodes. Romi Paku...then there Yusa Koji, Sakaguchi Daisuke (where IS MAX?!?!), etc. Also, Itoh Kentarou! WASTED! Morita Masakazu is in it too but not much. So is Madono Mitsuaki but he seems cool.

I think I'm sober now. Invited by my uncle, I tried out my first bottle of warm sake at BENIHANA. Nice food. I am not a good alcoholic drinker.

Today is Mother's Day. I, myself, is not a mother. I probably should be being "old" but it will be a foolish move on my part.

Anyways, I am happy to have another year with my mommy. She had a big chance of not surviving and recovered from her heart surgery these past months. I would've been pretty sick if she didn't make it. I gave her tulips, a card, and a lemon cake. I think my mom is very irreplaceable. To quote dad, his wife is irreplaceable. So if you want to kill (Edit may 13, 2013: CALL!) me a "mommy's girl", you're quite right?

Hmm, she's smart, she can be short-tempered (but that's from being sensitive), she's a clean freak (orz), likes to joke around, likes kids (cough, niece) and is easily forgiving. while forgiving, she just as easily can remind you of your mistakes. Also, she's pretty and has a comfortable nature. Maybe that's why niece likes her (lol) Mom's also very spiritual.

It's not into horror or violent movies. Oh, CSI? When people die or if there's a surgery scene...you can forget it.

(つд⊂) "What's going on?"
"I dunno."

UNLESS! It's a villain. Oh, she probably wouldn't mind it if a bad villain was thrown into a meat grinder. (*´∀`*)
"SHOOT HIM!" and "Throw him into the acid!"

This coming week, I should try to be more confident. But, I say that every time.

Every Sunday, I feel like I know how to look at life a little more positively and how to take more action, but I don't think it ends up that way. I guess I get discouraged easily. I want to read Pirates Latitude but like I said before, I feel like my memory and sense of understanding is terrible. There's also job search. I get a little annoyed too because I'm inhibited by babysitting.

Maybe it's just my imagination? Is my mind functioning lower than usual due to fatigue or is this reality?

I also need the confidence because...um...I was given an "interesting video". (sigh)

There is also the game world! I play NINDOU and Mario Kart Wii, the latter being a bit difficult for me when it comes to unlockables. Also, I need confidence to know how to use Photoshop, despite my weak point in technology and computer stuff. My writing confidence has taken a dip too.

Vid time.

I forgot. More in the world of Music: Bee Gees Member Robin Gibb is in a coma. :( So sad...he's been fighting a lot of health problems. Who likes the Bee Gees? ;)

At the Library yesterday, I wanted to pick up The GodFather novel but I didn't have my card and I had some dues.

But I took a glimpse of it. I only remember a courtroom but not names. This lack of memory when it comes to the points of composition is really concerning me. It also discourages me to read. What should I do?

Goodbye: Aono Takeshi
Like I said in an previous entry, VA Aono Takeshi has passed on.

Kind of like Dick Clark, he had a wide influence on Japanese voice acting (and even acting? Tokusatsu?) that I'm not old enough to follow it entirely. But because he's been with us for so long, and it seemed like nothing could slow him down, you could catch him just about anywhere and anytime.

Many fans relate Aono to Sanada Shiro (in blue) of SPACESHIP BATTEL YAMATO and the grandfather of Maruko in Chibi Maruko. Aono voiced both characters for quite a lot of years, Sanada having a handsome voice at one point. ;) In current generation it is probably Mihawk from ONE PIECE and Kami and Piccolo Daimaio (Great Demon King Piccolo) from the Dragonball Series (The latter being only in Dragonball). Or is it Gengai of Gintama? How about Roy Campbell?!

Which reminds me, Mihawk. Aono surprisingly had handsome characters. Even older, he had a tiny hint of handsome in his voice that I think my ears were shrewd enough to pick up. Course, that may seem strange. When I first heard his Mihawk, I'm like "Huh? Is that him?" It's quite difficult to explain or show since Aono-Mihawk mostly sounded astringent. And his 2nd voice actor seems to give him more of a "cool-headed handsome voice".

Thinking about, I think I had my start with Aono as Murasaki or Daimao or Kami, all from Dragonball. Hahah. Who knows? But they stick out the most. That above photo has Murasaki (his name means "purple") and it had the misfortune of having Goku's staff pushed up his butt.

Oh yeha, let's not Forget DR. WILY! From Megaman/Rockman series. Aono voiced Wily plenty of times, which I think makes the voice of a scientist/doctor attached to him.

"GA-HAHAHAhAHAA!"

Whoo. First I would like to say, sorry about the bad layout. I deleted my main photobucket gallery and wish to make a new one. I don't like the name anymore and I just want to start from scratch. It was also so out of order. Many photos I don't think I need to keep. I saved many of them so I'll look them over again. What am I watching?!
To my list, I added Saint SEIYA OMEGA, starring Guririba, AKA "Midorin" AKA GREEN RIVER LIGHT AKA MIDORIKAWA HIKARU!. Above photo is his character, Kouga! Three episodes in, easy to follow, pretty art (although the characters faces, especially noses, look strange. Like the eyes. Solid eyes?), nice cast.

And there's SEIYA with a scarf! Well, because I couldn't complete the original series or pick up The Lost Canvas or the Sanctuary series yet, I've decided to pick it up to replace Zero no Tsukaima.

I also added Eureka Seven because I long considered picking it up. I wasn't sure if I wanted to do it. It looks pretty interesting! In fact, he won a few awards from the Tokyo Anime fair: Best TV series, best char design, best screenplay. It's pretty to look at, but I'm not sure about the character designs just yet. Just look at Dominic and Renton. Are they relatives??! And I love flying! NIRVASH is just...captured my heart. A skysurfing mech?! And it transforms into a car!? Can it get any better?

A piece of American History

Goodbye. *SALUTE*

I don't care if I'm not like 50 or 60 years old. Who, especially those interested in Pop Culture, doesn't know about Dick Clark? I honestly thought he was older, like near 90, because he has a large influence on American television. And it's like I've seen him forever. Of course, I would see him on PYRIMID because I am a game show freak. Also, TV's Bloopers. I always felt like he was the kind of guy required to go on TV. I'm sure, I might've seen late episodes of American Bandstand but my memory is fuzzy.

TWITTER
Here's something awesome! VA Otsuka Houchuu was trending on Twitter (In Japan) TODAY! That's because he appeared, and I mean live, on a ranking show. Apparently with Namikawa Daisuke.

And also, he's going to be the new Sanada Shiro...of the new SPACE BATTLESHIP YAMATO 2199. OnoD, AKA Ono Daisuke is going to be Godai Susumu. I think Susumu's brother is going to be voiced by Miyamoto Mitsuya.

Sanada...that's next.

I wanna cry just a little

Aono Takeshi has passed on.

I just enjoyed him so much. For an old man, he seemed unbridled. I wouldn't know where to start.

Foolish thinking or not. I've been waiting for him to get better. I finished Zero no Tsukaima last week, and his Osmond was replaced by Bin Shimada, which I only noticed last weekend. Matter of fact, Shimada Bin has replaced many of his roles. Wikipedia also stated that his roles stopped at 2010, which scared me a bit. I thought, "he never recovered..."

And this was just last week. I'll definitely miss that laugh too.

Goodbye Aono...

Lots on talk on the sixty four hundred million dollar lottery jackpot.

What would I do if I had that kind of money?! Listening to the radio, I hear people say that they wouldn't work anymore. One dude says he'll drop out of school and never work a day in his life. Maybe that was a big joke, but I think he's making a mistake ;)

Would 640 million fulfill our entire lives? Athletes and movie actors still have to work right? And you can't buy jobs. I think I would still work.

Anyways...

I have no idea what I would do I can imagine being asked for money by family members u.u.

Gotta catch up with my game consoles that's for sure. Both a nice house and a renovation to parents' house. Maybe a nice Ferrari!

Maybe a nice library.

HEAVY WINDS in Michigan

This entire week could be summed up with babysitting and dad, who was hospitalized again since Saturday. That guy is lucky and unlucky at the same time. Met him in the hospital a few times and he is doing better. Matter of fact, I thought I had to say goodbye to him because of talk about hospice. Not sure where that came from. Luckily, we were relieved quick, but he might need another operation.

Good grief...more surgery?

Niece has been with me throughout most of the week. (lol) Funny girl. She loves to sleep on me too, geez. A pleasant kid most of the time, but she's a bit rough and knows that crying can get her attention. I really wonder if my sister isn't that dense enough to know how much of a smartie pants her kid is.

Seiyuu Awards
The results of the 6th Seiyuu Awards (voice actors of Japan) were revealed. I am happy to see KEIKO TODA, Hirata Hiroaki, and Kenyuu Horiuchi winning. For Hirata, I never got into Tiger and Bunny for some reason, and I was psyched that Hirata got the main character. And how many times did I talk about Toda Keiko?

TODA, as a voice over, probably is best known as the symbolic ANPANMAN but he is mostly an actor and a singer. Also dubs Julia Roberts often (who is also popular and pretty). Oh, and quite gorgeous too.

I never thought that Kenyuu's versatility would be honored in this day of age, especially this soon.

Eguchi Takuya, who won New Actor Award, I think is in Gundam AGE now as ASEMU (photo above)!

AGE is fun. *Nod* Sakurai Takahiro won too oh, the fangirls. Winning the kids/family award is OTANI IKUE! KAwakami Tomoko was honored too...

Work
I had an interview for a marketing business, but didn't work out. Interview can mean so much, it sucks that it can be a weak point to many people. Of course, dad tells me to have more faith. The first step is to know that you were told to be "considered a candidate". That should help me at least.

What the hell NARUTO (comic) / Annoying stuff
OK! I'm actually a little annoyed as to how some comics can make me feel retarded in comprehension. There's Nabari no Ou, which feels to me to be a lot of complexity in the story line (or is it the translated dialogue?). The BLEACH fanbase makes me wonder if I'm stupid for actually liking the comic because I see so much complaining. I really enjoy D.grayman, but find myself going to Wiki a lot to understand some plot elements.

And now there's Naruto.

The concept of the Uchiha clan is simple: Power and hatred. Itachi has been Sasuke's center villain for a long time. But sometimes I wonder if Kishimoto gets coerced into retconning by his assistants.

Sure, Shounen doesn't have to make sense and it tries to teach us a lesson. Ask yourself, if someone killed your family and asked you to gain power, what would you do?

Highlight to read about recent chapters )

I guess without ANY of this, Naruto wouldn't have a foil.

Still, I have to keep reading to find out what's going to happen. It's getting good in some areas. And I frankly don't get the dislike of Uzumaki Naruto himself. he has a nice crazy. He's stupid, he's overpowered, but he knows better. He doesn't respond to grudges or other negative emotions.

Oh, and Zero No Tsukaima is annoying me a little too. Maybe I'm really not into harem...

Another annoying thing: CYBER FORMULA SAGA!

I think shitty SUBTITLES and BAD ART/ANIMATION aged me 30 years. And don't get me started with Hayato. Although, [livejournal.com profile] deathlike knows how to add in humor when it comes to this.

Before SAGA, I finished CF Zero Realm which had some intense racing. I should nominate SekiToshi for Seiyuu of the Month of [livejournal.com profile] seiyuu next time.
