Next year, this blog will be ten years old.

I am surprised. I suddenly thought of this entry because I lost my temper Monday again, and I remember saying that I don't like complaining a lot about personal problems because of a few reasons. One of them being that it shows how you're like on a social level. It can show your real self. Also, ranting won't change it.

But I guess I like telling myself, "Don't ever do what this other person is doing".

Maybe the reasons are under my "ugly side" tag somewhere.

Looking back, I can't seem to remember anything blatantly discriminatory. As in, putting it down on text.

"Racism", "misogyny", "homophobia" (even though [livejournal.com profile] fanficrants may disagree), "antisemitism", "xenophobia", anything with bigotry.

Or is anti-teen pregnancy = misogyny?

Majority of it was teen pregnancy. I guess "ageism" is discrimination too? The other is criticizing religion. Atheism? I don't know. I don't recall directly saying that "I don't believe in God", but my biggest issue is what religion can do to people's egos and that it's commonplace. So commonplace that what is considered "good", or what bibles and scripts say can be interpreted differently. Also, religion has its own sense of bigotry, or maybe that is our fault?

So ageism and atheism?

Which reminds me, Reasons of Anti-Semitism. I still don't get why anti-jew exists. There is this survey:

More than a quarter of the world is anti-Semitic

One quarter of adults worldwide 'deeply infected' with Anti-semitism

I am happy to be naive sometimes.

Am I right?

My week starts rough and ends rough. I had an ugly 'hate dream", which I didn't want to agree on, and my Sunday started rocky. Now I wonder about myself, and if my dream reflects myself. Or didn't I say before that dreams are mostly negative?

I almost didn't want to go anywhere.

Anyways...back to the title.

America is, apparently. And Britain isn't happy.

I'm sure most of us dislike war for obvious reasons, and either inside or stated openly, we have conflicting reasons over why we should go or why we should not go. First I thought, I agreed with what John Kerry said Liberals liberals, Lib-tards, whiners, dumbass, huah huah huah with "speaking to us [the people of the nation] for an answer" at the start of the announcement. I couldn't hear everything because I was in my car on a short break, listening to the radio.

Did America, and myself as an American, wanted payback for 9/11? Yes. Do I dislike violence? Yes. Do I like self-defense? Yes. Do I like to see innocent children and medical personnel get killed? NO! A one-track mind. Even in Hetalia (Axis Powers ヘタリア), America is portrayed with a "justice loving" stereotype. There's also a ton of other Japanese manga/anime and games; one that sticks out in my memory the most is my bro GALFORD from Samurai Showdown (Samurai Spirits) series! =D

But the question is: Why help Syria? Is America the Superman of the world?
And what would our image be if we did nothing?

Oh BTW,

More tipping politics scale. No idea why I was rambling about mentality )

I am not denying anything. I guess someone has to do it. Right needs to punch the Left radicals and Left needs to the punch the Right radicals. Wouldn't call it "news".

With that said, 50 years ago, MLK made his "I have a dream" speech.

I'm putting up a photo of Kaze Tachinu because:
1.) Airplane!
2.) Hirokoshi Jiro looking cool
3.) It's flat out cool
4.) Miyazaki Hayao's passion and pacifist beliefs
5.) I want to watch it

So Miyazaki is getting criticized for worshiping Hirokoshi as a hero. The movie is a tribute to the warplane engineer, his dream, and his struggle during the Depression and 1930s earthquake. Miyazaki spoke against the Prime Minister and his idea to revise the Renunciation of War of Japan's Constitution. Miyazaki was also against "re-writing the truth" (aka: reading only what we choose to know).

Banning of "Barefoot Gen" in children schools

I can't say anymore until I watch the movie. But, since Hiro was willingly building warplanes responsible for the historical incidents that make Japanese and Koreans alike sensitive, what is Miyazaki's view? What am I missing? Is it just Hiro's desire? No matter what his Zero fighter did?

Vehicles are flexible and don't have to be built as weapons. Even though, I TOO think that fighter planes are pretty darn cool. They maximum the effectiveness of aerodynamics, and look pretty sexy while flying.

Also, Miyazaki is retiring? Naaaaah, you wouldn't do that would you?

Which reminds me, I am writing a fictional story about a pilot who loves flying. He graduated from Officer's training and eventually became a fighter pilot, because he was inspired to love fighter planes. After a match against a rival, he mention that non-simulated air combat will be the test he needs to further pursing his flying craft. Before that, he questioned why America went to war and what did it mean to "be an American"?

Japanese animator under fire for film tribute to warplane designer

"Why did smoking have to be included in a scene where the objective is to depict the couple's relationship, especially the woman's state of mind?" the letter said. "There must have been another way to express that."

Japan has more of a smoking frequency than the U.S., doesn't it? And if Mayazaki said that it was trend in even the old days then why complain?

I would like more detail on the criticism. Every time I watch the Kaze Tachinu (The Wind Rises) trailer, I'm filled with emotion, and I want to watch the movie regardless that the Americans opposed the Axis Powers. Miyazaki was always against war, and I don't dislike him for diverting from his fantasy elements.

Korea, Japan, China, I see the same thing.

When I see derision against people from Asia, it's from people who PROBABLY never lived in the age of World War I and World War II. They never seen the attack of Pearl Harbor except through stock footage of documentaries, and news highlighting these notable events on their anniversaries. Koreans are understandable, but even they are inciting hatred in this current age.

It is true that abduction and slavery happened; it's also true that Americans captured Asian Americans and sent them through labor.

Are they offended? There's always a justified feeling that it was okay to bomb the Japanese, especially the atomic bombs. Just because they declared war on America. What if an American created a movie lionising Adolf Hilter or the German military when the Nazi Party took charge?

On a unrelated note, Ueda Yuji (うえだゆうじ) appears in Saint Seiya Omega.

I can't figure out what Sonic Memory to do next. I might enter the Game Gear-verse against with Sonic 2 or Triple Trouble, but not sure if I remember much. I definitely can't remember much from Chaos. I feel that my memories are shallow. I'm only wrote eight?

As for reading...

Moreover, because of its importance, difficulty in learning to
read crushes the excitement and love for learning, which most children have when they enter
school.
>

How true is this?

Either I'm just overthinking, I blame MESO, or this is psychological? I was always a good speller and reader, but do I like to read?

I still have very old novels stuck in my shelf, unfinished. Jurassic Park, ripped and ended up in the trash, stayed with me for well over ten years unfinished.

So i'm going to look around and see if there any answers of what might be the case, and maybe solution.

Customers Suck

Lazy [bleeps] who don't put away...

Electric scooters and warning

Awful links, but express my mind sometimes.

No, not about laziness, even though I know how they feel, but about methods.

and some freakin' how I found a racist site connected with this If you put a warning sign on something, but there's the common example of those who don't follow the rules, then maybe the sign/tag is pointless? Maybe, maybe not, but you have to set an example for some.

But if there's one thing we all do, if you can get away with anything more than once, and without injury, you can dismiss warnings.

It's been a cool week recently. Cool, and plenty of rain. I see people who drive to the store with their own fancy electric carts; however, there are the ones inside the store that are used for indoors only. Or so that is what it says.

Whatever the hazard is for using indoor kart in the opposite way, I guess the hazard for using indoor karts oppositely is required to be thought out by the kart operator and the store associates.

Those karts can barely contain power, and can get caught outside dead in any distance from the store. Some people take the cart to the bank. It's not a car. And what if it rains and gets stuck outside and drenched?

I can get electrocuted you know? Plus, the electro-karts are considerably few in number. And they are no faster than humans of walking speed. Or maybe that's just my opinion. If you take the cart outside, you'll have to emphasize more on using safety techniques. And you can't move out of the way if a car operator is not careful, especially during rush hour.

But yes, I always get that stare like I'm a buffoon because I wonder over rules or I accept the less popular opinion.

The above video, and a talk with a co-worker, made me wonder. My mother said, "it's all in the evidence".

I don't like racial prejudice. Frankly, it's quite simple to call bullshit "prejudice"
, or it's quite simple to accuse Zimmerman of using prejudice because of what he said on the phone. Plus, he should have not have gotten out of the car.

I don't agree with this final judgement, so I wonder what everyone was thinking.

The brain is an amazing thing isn't it?

Experts don't know how many Americans have fetal alcohol syndrome or one if its related disorders, but the impact of the conditions on society is enormous.

It's Tuesday; so far so good this week, sort of. I question humanity.

Stink-pest talk again; I promised I wouldn't, but an article caught my interest.

LINK: Of Different Mind: FAS (Fetal Alcohol Syndrome)

SO apparently Stink-Pest has FAD, and lately she has been an absolute PAIN that it's so embarrassing to know that she's a parent. It's because of her behavior and incompetent actions that I end up babysitting a lot. So I'm told to remind myself that she has Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. Am I supposed to be relieved that all this trouble was from something she had no power over? And CAN anything even be done about it?

IF this is the case, then maybe she can't live alone? or with an infant? She is incapable of making good choices? is brain damage that cursed?

Brain damage could also mean "unable to discern words or numbers". That shouldn't be a bad thing. It might also mean "unable to sense".

A quote from the article, from Michelle Ford, "If I had been not brain damaged, I don't think I would have committed that crime," Michelle Ford said. "I still did it, and I'm still responsible for it. … I don't want to hide behind my brain damage and say, 'It's all the brain damage's fault. But I had the freedom of a 22-year-old with the brain power of a 5-year-old."

But you knew? You did. So what's going on? You're in another state of mind at one time, and you're just waking up in court?

Another quote:"I always thought there was just something wrong with me," she said. "When I found out I had brain damage, I was so relieved to find out nothing was really wrong with me. I was just brain-damaged. I wasn't crazy. There was an explanation for what was wrong, and it wasn't my fault.""

The "wrong" is brain damage.

So now what? For those who drink, long after, we can't be aware of our actions? We're not going to be born perfect, yeah? What does that "P" word mean anyway? Or how about the "N" word: Normal?

I am awkward myself in anyone can tell.

What are we supposed to do about this?

In the same article, FAS is compared to lobotomy or a botched one?. It's an article that makes me a little depressed, like nothing can be done. Kids grow into adults and they can take any action and not understand consequences because sensing that is absent to them. But at the same time, they know how to call the police on an assaulter, dislike close relatives and call them names, know how to plot an idea about beating someone up as retaliation, etc.

Least that's the case with Stink-Pest. Maybe she's really just a jerk, and would have been with BD or not. Also, if someone is BD and easily led, then why the constant rebelliousness? Or are they pissed off from being misunderstood and grew up being inclined to anger like ANYONE else can? myself included.

A lot of us don't know if, to quote Lissie Clark in the same article, "we're ending up with bad people or not", even without BD. You know?

Seiyuu-related entry!

Just something to pass boredom, and I need to practice in using Powerpoint, Task Manager, and Excel much more. The question is how? During my free time, I try to employ them into writing, like for collecting data. Sometimes I get so deep into it, I make graphs for characters or timelines.

Anyways, I was browsing for roles on Ishida Akira (ie: main characters) and found these links with opinions on Voice quality compatibility. The page creator is named "YUZU" (ユズ). In the link, for each gender, Yuzu lists six different categories to describe the voice quality. The qualities are scaled on a radar graph in clockwise:

MALE:
Choices: Furuya Toru, Nobutoshi Kanna, Suyama Akio, Midorikawa Hikaru, Koyasu Takehito, Kamyia Akira, Okiayu Ryotaro, etc
「少年らしさ」:Boy
「熱血さ」:Passion (quoting, "Simply put, "Super robot anime or Sports maniac suitability in old days")
「クールさ」:Cool
「色気」:Sexy/H voice
「渋さ」: Elderly voice/astringent
「コミカルさ」:Comical (Gag)

FEMALE:
Choices: Koyama Mami, Ohara Noriko, Hidaka Noriko, Hayashibara Megumi, Fucami Rica, Mitsuishi Kotono, Han Keiko, Koorogi Satomi, etc
「少年」:Boy voice.
「子供」:Child voice. Usually 12 and under
「少女」: Girl voice. Usually arouns 12 - 17
「お姉」:Big sister like. Usually around 18 - 20
「熟女」:Attractive woman. Usually over 20yo
「ギャグ」:Gag. Comical/joke type.

Looking over the opinions, or from what I can gather, I found myself nodding to most of them. They look impartial, and Yuru refers to notable roles, comments from doujinshi authors and encyclopedias (for voice actors?).

I especially agree about Furuya Toru, who is considered to have a "cool or oppressed boy voice" (the latter meaning the type you want "to mistreat") voice type. Listening to Amuro, you'd think the voice quality was a little shy? Not to say that his role selections are inappropriate; because he has a general young voice, he is often in the lead. Surprisingly to me, Furuya's "comical" score is low. Recently, I think Furuya's "sex appeal" has increased ;)

For the ladies, I didn't see one for K-sensei (Katsuki Masako). Since I had fun looking at the graphs, I thought I could make one. What do I think? I thought to myself, "what I do really think of her voice quality?"

My graph is rated 0 - 40; there is no "zeros" so it'll look like four ratings/lines. Let's do it with grade letters, from lowest to highest: E (0), D (10), C (20), B (30) A (40).

So here's mine:

I wanna show this again because I love it. Well Mr. Owl, last year I wasn't that nice on myself, or others even.

I did this for 2011, and just for the sake of blogging I want to reflect on last year. I'm having lag so I might not type much. Let's me get the morose stuff out the way.

[ Personal ]
I lost someone important, and while I attempt to endure it and pursue a forward-thinking life, I don't think I did my best. I found myself babysitting often too, which isn't that much of a problem.

More importantly, I've been harshly criticizing myself. Attacking my memory, and believing that I severely lack critical thinking (and being unable to debate), because apparently it's a crime to be inquisitive. And when I do get excited, I do tend to ask a lot of questions even if I should know the answer. Even if the answer is easy.

But knowledge is parallel to life experiences, so maybe I can blame lack of experience.

[ The World ]
Hurricane Sandy ravaged the Caribbean and even eastern U.S and part of Canada.

While many shootings happen across U.S.A, the theater attack in Aurora, Colorado, and the heartless massacre at Sandy Hook Elm. school in Newtown, CO. raised questions about what to do.

SOPA, last year Jan, caused Wikipedia to blackout in protest against anti-piracy. Also, sharing sites such as Megaupload was removed.

oh yeah...oppa gangnam style. Interesting.

Lance Armstrong...just lance Armstrong. sports history being wiped off the planet.

[ GAME WORLD! ]

- After years of wonder, in achieved the GOOKINGSWORD from Breath of Fire 3. Also, other items. Reliving the game was great.

- Many Successive in Monster Rancher 2

- In Mario kart Wii, I achieved golds in 50 - 150 cc, all courses. Mirror Mode was unlocked so i have a new challenge ahead for me.

[ TV/READING WORLD! ]
I continue with my Gundam Style! journey Video joke aside, Gundam AGE developed quite a bit in 2012, and I watched it until the ending. I also watched MS IGLOO 1 & 2, and I began the infamous Zeta Gundam.

Along with that, I finally lit my fire for Saint Seiya after thinking on it for many years. So now, I'm watching the classic series (half of it), Omega, reading and watching LostCanvas, and I'll watch Hades Sanctuary. There's a lot of comics such as Episode G and Next Dimension. I'm not sure on what to do.

I finished the tokusatsu series Kamen Rider Fourze and began Kamen Rider Wizard. Maybe I'll develop more love for tokusatsu and watch more Kamen Rider series and even Super Sentai fully. This year I believe is the new dinosaur Sentai.

Finished the wonderful Eureka Seven series.

Trying to read Pirate Latitudes, but I keep stopping.

BLEACH is just wow.

Finished the cyber formula series with the ovas (and its crappy subtitles).

We say goodbye to Aono Takeshi, W. Houston, Dick Clark, etc. I have entries on them under 2012.

In my entry about the Kindergarten school in Connecticut, I mentioned something about reading an article about a kid shooting his parents over Halo. It's that time again for Midou Ban (above photo) and me. I just talk about myself; I am told to be pretty honest.

On the 17th of this month, we grow another year. Midou Ban is just a fictional character; as for me, I'm still dumb, judgmental, and private.

I wonder if anyone thinks of me as a "misogynic" (women contempt) for slamming teen parents throughout this entire blog? Because the majority of the time, I don't talk about the fathers, do I? I don't remember.

Teen parent dislike is on par with other negative prejudice such as misogyny, sexism, racism, homophobia, stemming from the wrong examples.

Shame that I know this and won't change; this is probably my worst prejudice.

If I say "sorry' for being offensive, it wouldn't be true at all would it? Because I kept talking about it in my blog.

Unfortunately for me, I have yet to find a good example of valued youth parenting. I will remain small-minded until I do. What I slam is irresponsibility and potentially endangering children. And yes, of course, adult parents too. It gets me upset when people talk about pregnancies being accidents, or they don't want to have children, OR they hide their pregnancy (not the bikini syndrome) or they say it's not theirs (ie: the guys).

Or even worse.

No, do not use the "A" word around me. Kids aren't the "A" word. I will not agree with it. I am not sympathizing with the infertile or "just lucky this time" misconception either

I also dislike PEER PRESSURE! Especially with sex involved, and young people are really in that department. Bullying!

Mom throws newborn in dumpster

This may not be a usual case. It's hard to say if the baby was alive or not before being tossed because it was premature. Still, it's wrong to toss a living anything in the trash.

I complain about it a lot because it is youths. I can't find respect in those who make something so natural look so embarrassing and so condemned, and use sex so carelessly. I also don't like it when children lack a parent or parents.

If you don't want children, don't do what makes the children, birth control or not. If you're not prepared, then what?

1.) 50% of U.S teens are doing it; about 33% preg.

2.) Many teens, especially boys, feel pressure to have sex before they are ready. According to recent research, some 63% of teens believe that waiting to have sex is a good idea, but few people actually do.

We, at a young age, develop a mature reproductive system. Therefore, we also have a young legal consent age and a young legal marriage age (younger historically). Also in the U.S, when you're 17, you can enter the military with parental/guardian approval. At 18, you can register to vote; depending on the state, you can be at least 14 years old to obtain a drivers licence. Those are other examples. Why was this set up? There's the cognitive potential that this can all work well. The potential of holding yourself accountable; you're at an age that you can make choices. That is all I'm saying. And no, I'm not saying force yourself into marriage.

I highly criticize my niece's parent because she is provocative and just not smart. Recently, she got into some public embarrassment. The majority of the time, during youth, you don't think about having kids. Niece's parents sure as hell weren't because they kept lying about it. That's a good sign isn't it? Hmm, I guess niece would not have had a father because the idiot kept lying.

They aren't influenced by parental expectations. I'd probably think differently if they did. And Stink-Pest has a terrible character in particular.

When you have children, it can disturb everything. I spent a whole year caring for niece and parents (both were sickly) because the brat parent was in school. You have to make changes; it doesn't entirely have to do with getting a job, stop the baby's crying, feeding it, and changing the diaper.

You're probably thinking that I should never have kids because I'm a hateful, shallow person. Moreover, I'd be a terrible parent, something that I highly criticize, because what would I do if my son or daughter had children as a young age?

I wonder if I'm going to regret not being THAT young. I don't have children yet. Maybe I'll be 35 or 40... Frankly, I can't maintain a relationship or children. Socioeconomic-wise, I'm pretty low. As for my self-worth, it isn't the best either.

But I am quite fine the way I am. Sometimes, things develop late. I would tell myself that I'm a crappy person for being "retarded" or the like, and I still feel like I have a lot to work on in my personality. But taking it easy is my kind of way and I don't like being forced to do things. When I put my mind into something, and like it, it's a strong point.

I want to be a good wife one day. A loyal person and a good friend.

This is getting to be morose so let's get to VID TIME!

I'm getting distracted by the Saint Seiya Series. After like nearly two years (?), I finally return to the comic series "The Lost Canvas", and I finally got into watching the animation thanks to [livejournal.com profile] deathlike's nagging. I'm a little ashamed of myself; the animation is nice and the OP is awesome!

The Rolling Stones's song "Paint it Black" fits this series perfectly.

Ummm...

17-year old Sakowicz (Team Doulas) assists in birthing and parenting support

I might've gotten the wrong idea watching this, title-wise. Is Sakowicz in charge of the team? Is she a teen parent too?

I gotta give her some credit because she's smart and patient. And I definitely pick this over the celeb shows, which tick me off.

Still, this doesn't help my "jerkass" prejudice too much. Of course, they talk wise after it happens. I don't find complete comfort in a teen parent talking about post-birth difficulties, or even celibacy, to others of the same age group. What's the point?

It's not like child raising isn't difficult at any other age.

"One-third?" How is this supposed to look for those who don't have children before 20? How about sex and peer pressure?

Also, it's not "hard for my niece and her "parents" because of the assistance from grandparents and other family members.
