New SM this Saturday and munchkin is away ATM.

Going to post these because they're so cute/humorous:

Also the popular PEACY reacts

As for me:

Well, when I began the first episode of SM Crystal, the first thing that came to mind was how bright it was -- how much effort was put into the art design. A lot of effort. It actually made me happy. It's just...so

sexy. Like oozing sexy. (LOL) But then, the comic design were beautiful.

Even Queen Beryl is gorgeous from the OP. Like Oh my God o-O; And Watanabe Misa is going to voice her? What a crime.

Which reminds me: I remember thinking that if they didn't get Furuya Toru back for Tuxedo Mask, I thought of Kishio Daisuke or Namikawa Daisuke. Turns out Kishio Daisuke MADE IT IN! And he's Jadeite! Points!

I agree with the first video when it comes to the PreCure eyes. I actually have a tiny problem with it -- they are so bubbly and it's like they push out of the cornea. There is so much effort put into making those eyes and everything else so acute (Like I said, "Oozing sexy"), and making the mouths so small, its like Toei made this version more stiff than its classic 90s version. You can definitely see the influence of the PreCure artist.

Why "Stiff"? This all seems to lead the animation towards a LACK of gag scenes. Or maybe I should say that the gag scenes were turned down a few notches? The liveliness has went away somewhere, but I'm not upset. One of my high points in watching Sailor Moon classic WAS the gag scenes. I was like "What is this...I LOVE IT!" The gag is present in the manga too, especially when Chibausa arrives and when Usagi/Serena is with Mamoru/Darien.

Hopefully that'll change. Don't get me wrong, Usagi falling down the stairs, tripping over Luna, and kicking her house's door was good. Unfortunately, I have the instinct of comparing back into the old days. But I do tell myself that the comic was attached to beauty, love, and that friggin' ridiculous crystal.

And it is just the first episode after all.

I also agree with the same video: Stop using CGI. I am OK with it, but why? I liked the crescent moon!

Music is OK so far; I liked the first few minutes with the dream. I will miss the beautiful classic transformation music; from other watchers, it was said to be Pre-Cure-like too.

Sound...

Gotten to a point where Mitsuishi Kotono needs to be protected. I even saw comments such as "This is just as bad as the original voice actor" or along those lines. Uhh...

I am reminded of my previous entry about the original voices, and after watching Crystal I think that I understood the meaning of letting the originals return as being "important".

We do look backwards too much. We look back at classic Sailor Moon (just like classic Seiya) and expect a similar quality as if the series was still airing. Thus, we call Kotono "old-sounding". In other words, an unreliable voice. For some reason, we HAVE to look for some discrepancies, something that'll tell us that this casting will ruin our viewing experience because she isn't like "back then". Some kind of bad pitch, a shake, or some "difference". I think that as an expert, Mitsuishi is going to take steps back into her old role.

Performance doesn't wither from age. Node issues or having a cold are possible, but Mitshishi has plenty of control over her voice. "Moon Tiara!" and "Tsuki ni kawate Oshioko Yo" (For the moon, I'll punish you) is still as fresh-sounding as ever.

When VAs recite their roles' lines on a TV show (ie: Daitarn Map) or CM after so long, it's still fabulous to hear. Usagi isn't as spazzy as in her classic version, but I'm sure when things heat up, we'll see Kotono sprout some more.

Again, don't like the OP theme song at all. It doesn't have to be Moonlight Desentsu, but it is so uppity and childish and I'm reminded of...well, there's no "strength". A soldier strength I guess. It lacks grace, and you need to listen to Peach Hips. Listen to Moonlight Desentsu.

After all the stuff that I said, I didn't do a gaming update.

Monster Hunter Tri (3). Now, I'm at the boring part, or maybe the frustrating part.

SPOILERS after the end:
Well...
I beat Navaldeus for the first time, and past the credits there are some new missions for me. I am happy, but now this means my "skill" is going to be pushed. I always feel like I'm at a steel wall during this part of the game. You beat a game, you have a feeling of contempt, and you want to play the game at a harder difficulty, right?

I'm not good at that. At all. What do I have ahead of me: DUEL BATTLES. And very nasty ones. For example, two Diabolos, and Agnaktor (sp?) with Uragaan. These are level five monsters. Two monsters at the same time.

So I'm thinking: I need upgraded weapons and armors, more bombs and traps, more supplementary items. In other words, resources and money. I tried Gobul and Royal Ludroth with my thunder long sword because that's their weakness along with fire, and I just failed miserably. The Ludroth took way too long for my liking.

I still have the biggest problem with Rathalos because it flies too much, especially with a time limit. It should be good with a crossbow, but I'll run out of ammo even if I bring the combo components with me.

And fighting Navaldeus was my first time using dragon ammo. It seems to be very interesting, so I want to work on making those too. I'm still not sure how to get Lagiacrus horn, and it and the tail are important in creating armor and upgrading bowgun parts.

geh. So, it's tests and preparation. I wish I could've tried the online gaming.

Video time. AMAZING GOOSEBUMPS!

It's been a long while since I've seen Prince of Egypt. Beautiful movie.

I think this Kae to Kotono. I think Kotono has a lot of push in her.

The way you interact with people extremely matters.

That's all. I'm really tired.

[Entertainment]
- Gundam Build Fighters and Seiya Omega has ended.
- Buddy Complex will have a 2nd season. Thoughts some other time.
- John Pinette and Mickey Rooney...(groan)

And I'm not accepting Nozawa Masako being called an old hag. Looking at you ANN. Apparently this is God Acting.

I think this Heidi of the Alps scene with Clara/Kirara, originally, was supposed to be heartrending. But she made it fun? spoiler?

"Boku tate dayo."

And freakin' Furuya Tohru is on Twitter.

A new video I found. I'm dying...almost makes you want to quit Twitter.

I shouldn't laugh at ignorance since it's sad, the guy's facial impressions and delivery in comments wins.

Not sure what's better? Part 1 or 2. I think part 2 has more celebrities? Look who makes the world go around.

"Tokyonese" hurt my stomach.

I posted this guy before. 2013 version.

New entry in a moment.

It's said that translation erorrs were fixed in the PSP version of FINAL FANTASY TACTICS, which is called "War of the Lions". Are they sure?

I'd like to think it's more "archaic"...

I watched this already, but saw a segment of it on Fox news so I wanted to share. Bless these kids' hearts. I was looking at the youtube comments and of course...couldn't help but be appalled. I don't think the kids are "stupid", this segment reflects that they are young. This is the day of cellphones.

As for me...

I know someone taught me how to use a rotary dial. Maybe adults at school, parents or maybe grandparents had one how would I know to use the phone booth? ^^;. Maybe it was my grandparents who had rotary. Hell, I think my neighbor had one of those hand-cranked wall phones.

Weather sucks. Super polar Michigan land. I don't think I'm comfortable driving until peak Spring. Even when the sun is out, I don't want to push on the gas too much due to the accident.

Considering my poor entries recently, maybe I should blog something good. I seriously wanted to throw some chairs yesterday.

Anyways, I've been considering on purchasing FINAL FANTASY TACTICS. Oh wow, the PSP website just gave me nostalgic goosebumps. It has been a long time that I've played the game, and it's one of the games that I have an urge to return to. The same goes with Legend of Zelda: Windwaker.

However, I read a couple of reviews on FFT that criticized it, and they made me remember a few things about the game such as the lack of character non-combat interaction (during travel. Doesn't seem important. Less than Tactics Orge??), bad ally AI, useless spell casting due to enemy movement and time casting (HASTE! HASTE!), and of course the difficulty. Also, the party members are limited and the enemy can outnumber you, which is unfair. I like being attached to my party especially since you can hire/recruit the members.

I didn't get far enough to get immersed into the story. I can't even remember what happened in Vagrant Story.

TO quote a reviewer: "Fire Emblem is tactics". I have to agree there. FE is dangerous!

But I think FFT is in the same league as Monster Hunter: the difficulty bugged me so much that I want to push myself to succeed against it. Push myself to practice, and to return to what I didn't complete, to return to what I desired because I felt like I was playing a potentially good game.

I also played FFT Advance which was equally addicting. The story was shallow, but I guess I got sucked in by my "hard work syndrome". I like to be rewarded.

Just like recently in Monster Hunter: Got me a rare bowgun frame for entering a dangerous environment and surviving ^-^; MH is annoying that it makes me collecting materials over and over again for particular weapons/armor, which means hunting so many big monsters and hoping that I get them. Ugh. However, I am doing great against Lagiacrus. I am improving. That's what I like: Proof that I can improve.

I'll make my decision tomorrow. bill time...

My paycheck stinks and I want to get Windwaker and Skyward Sword. Maybe Okami and Muramasa. there's still a lot of older games I haven't played. Even in the Pokemon Series.

Remember my seiyu meme? Day 11's question was: The seiyuu with the best singing voice.

Here's my Horie Mitsuko (堀江 美都子). The theem is called "Growing Up", the opening to "My daddy Long Legs", based on the novel of the same name. Horie starred in three World Masterpiece Theater shows, singing for them. In MDDL, she voices Judy. I think I want the soundtrack.

What is going on, 2014?

I mean seriously, the bad luck is accumulating. Or maybe it's my bad mood that's accumulating. It's probably "mood".

I don't think I've been that good since New Years. Sure, I enjoy watching the Kamen Rider series but that's it. I feel overworked for little to none, but so as do a lot of people, but I found myself unable to be positive. And I miss quality TV because I'm gone or busy through most of the day? And I'm still wracking my mind over why I must deal with the stupidity behind my niece.

Of course, there's comedy -- youtube never fails with that. The weather has been pretty good these past few days. However, I'm still prudent at the wheel. Second thought, I felt like a shitty driver.

The roads are mostly clear and plenty of the snow has melted, but maybe there's a lingering effect from the sub-zero chill and the ice and snow? Seems to be the case with my dog, who refuses to stay outside even in the sunshine. Car wouldn't work at one point and I had to get a new tire of course.

Maybe I shouldn't complain. Even on my Friends List, I'm a little unnerved by the entries of those I follow (or who follow me). Sometimes I wonder, "Why can't they be a little more friendly? There's more to things than garbage from family/co-workers."

How to start?

I guess I'll do something I rarely do in the next entry.

[ Green River ]
(SOURCE) (Also nicodouga)
So just recently, Midorikawa Hikaru was heckled by fans on his blog, resulting him in putting his blog on hiatus. Well...I'm pretty annoyed by that of course. oh nonono, you're not an old man! So apparently, a lot of marriage suspicion. Maybe it's a western thing, but I am happy that he is married and I am happy that he is attached to his fans, thus the reason for the blog. He is also very dedicated to his roles such as in the gundam and Super robot wars series.

[ Resolution ]
Last year, I didn't consider it. In fact, I very very rarely consider resolutions, but I've decided on something that I think I can accomplish.

Read three or four novels before the end of the year. I don't know if that is an appropriate number.

Last week, I've purchased novel YUKIKAZE! (Official Site. FAF stands for Faery Air Force) Thoughts on it some other time, but I like it so far? Even thought I've read that there are some pretty bad mistranslations. I can't get far just yet, since I still have my Crichton book to finish.

[ Videos / Sailor Moon ]
I'm posting it because the Sailor Moon 20th Anniversary is totally heating up with merchandise and con guests, and this video is just so touching. You don't have to agree with English dubbing, I'm just posting this here because...well, it's a story and I can't help but appreciate what Susan Roman did. Even if it's a dub, there's fans of it. In other words, those who were touched by Sailor Moon even if it's a different form.

Also, I'm reminded of the stories about She-Ra and Thundercats. Maybe Susan's "gun" bit was a bit extreme? ^-^;

Also, Sailor Jupiter happens to be my fave out of the inner Sailor Warriors (the original five or is it six?).

Michigan's having its expect weather. Snow, rain, sleet, all you can expect as Christmas approaches. That's just my opinion when it comes to middle December.

Other than that, I think I'll feel better Post-Christmas or New Years.
