Well, a random topic.

"Spirit in the Sky" is harmless o-O; Despite the words "die" in it, which is the reason for most of the choices. Anything related to fire, explosions, dying, anything dark, blood, etc.

But, "WONDERFUL WORLD" is VERY harmless!

I was considering on posting another "Sonic memory" (#7) entry today, I just need to figure out which game. So right now I am making a list of the entries I've previous made. When I make a new one, I'll come back and update the list.

ABOUT: In June 2011, Sonic the Hedgehog turned 20 years old and on Twitter, Sega wanted everyone to share their memories of Sonic under the hashtag #sonic20th. I thought that I had too much to share, so I wanted to blog my expressions on the Sonic games that I played.

Well, 2012 is here.

I guess I'll talk a little about my 2011. Posts under the tag "2011" usually cover interesting events. Too many things would take too long to talk about completely, or I can just make every subject concise. I can try right? Even more frustrating when one or two of my keys are getting stuck under my fingers.

Suicide/Homosexuality/Bullying/Videos
It felt like that, in 2011, the tone of bullying really gotten strong. Especially suicide from bullying. I could probably say that I had a not-so-pleasant social life (or maybe not as how I liked it to be. Or maybe I was envious) because of bullying. Even at a young age, I just knew not to be with people like that.

GUNDAM
Was it 2011 or 2010 when I started to really focus on the gundam series? Anyways, one time, I told myself I wanted to get into the gundam series more because it's such a long-lasting and popular robot franchise. In America, there was like Starship Troopers, ExoSquad, Transformers, etc. Transformers is still going ;) Throughout 2011, I watch Gundam Unicorn and the "preferred for children" Gundam AGE.

The protagonists Banagher (Unicorn) and Flit (AGE) are ordinary. Banagher's alliances, or maybe his positions in where and when to use the Unicorn gundam, seem to get switched too much. It first started that he was protecting the colony from the Sleeves, but now it's all about family ties, political corruption, and the L+ Box.

Spring weather (rainstorm, tornados)
Weird weather. Incredibly hot in the Summer and some of the worse rainstorms and tornado ever witnessed. It's even a little warm now, right here in Michigan. The snow is lacking as well. There was also the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, the quake in Turkey, etc. I felt that the world was going nuts. Apparently, there was a small quake in Michigan? o-O Never felt it.

Thundercats
Of couuuuuuuuurse! I was like a little girl, got excited about sitting in front of the TV. It's fun and weird at the same time. I can't explain the latter too well. Like there is some inconsistency in the character personalities? Maybe it's just me. Does Lion-O still want revenge? And I really want better fights with Mumm-Ra. "Legacy" was a cool episode!

Cedar Point
I only stayed there for a day, but it was worth it. Finally rode the Raptor after wanting to for years. Maybe I do have tolerance to coasters.

Babysitting
If I don't say this, I don't think I'll feel better. Maybe I like to reveal that I'm a jerk about this. I get really pissed at teen parents. I'm still a bit prejudice about it, despite reading a nice story about a young teen parent on someone's blog (name escapes me). I was relieved a little, but my sister is not making my bitterness better. I'd go on but I'll leave it.

People say "leave the past". Can't be done if you keep acting what you're trying to put away. If that makes sense.

So I ended up babysitting and mommy-sitting a lot. Parents are sickly, and omg, the baby is crazy active. ><; Wasn't any better after mom's surgery. Fortunately, the niece and I have a good relationship ^^; Matter of fact, I haven't picked her up in a while and don't think she liked that. She's a beggar, she's spoiled, etc.

Family
So, mom went through a crazy year. Fainting, pneumonia, bronchitis (I think), amazing healing, etc. It's strange since it's usually my dad who is sick. I was annoyed that she couldn't go to the doctor quicker and there were some days that I had trouble sleeping. Even worse when I got sick. She had to go through emergency surgery and such. Almost didn't make it because of blood buildup. Apparently she had clinical death.

xD I'm still thinking about her morphine (?) story. She thought she saw ants crawling from the wall when they were just holes.

Kamen Rider
Fourze will be the first Kamen Rider that I watch through fully. Or so I hope, I am enjoying it so far. I feel that I have a lot to learn. If I'm lucky, maybe the series will end up like gundam, and I'll get interested in the other older shows?

Cyber Formula
Definitely the year of Cyber Formula. I glad that I finally got into it as I really wanted to watch a motorsports show.

PS2 Memories: Breath of Fire 3 and 4. =D
Nostalgia. After keeping my PS CDs of BOFIII and IV intact, I finally play them after so many years. Oh, it feels so good. Not sure on how to talk about it.

There's this flash game, which I kept seeing advertised. Since I'm into reading about crime organization, I checked it out. I joined it and well, a little addicting. Addicting, SOMEHOW!

And I still never posted a single photo of me on the net, much to the annoyance of some people.

Today is also WRIGHT BROTHERS DAY! When Orville and Wilbur set the record for having the first sustained and controlled heavier-than-air powered flight with their airplane. What a honor. Surely, it's just a coincidence that I like planes as much as I do.

December's an interesting month. Winter starts (U.S), but also my youngest sister's b-day was on the 7th, there's also Christmas, and my dog's b-day is 12/23 (Met her Jan 2001 ;) EDIT: Jan 2000.). Also, I can remember the attack of Pearl Harbor easily, but just saying it was "ten days ago from today" ~.~; Which happened 70 years ago!

About BLOG and me
I made this blog on Christmas, seven years ago. I am surprised I had it for this long.

I think changing my layout would be nice. May need to fix my Memories, make sure they're in order.

INTERESTS: Did some looking over with my profile's interests. I thought I had too many seiyuu names. For example, while I like Hideo Ishikawa, I rarely speak about him. I think I talk about Takayama Minami (and TWO-MIX) much more than him. I also had game titles such as 'Legend of Dragoon", which I haven't played in years and left the enjoyment way in the past. Also, anime favorites listed. Ton of character names like Piccolo, Samus, Sanosuke Sagara, etc.

I read about crime a lot, and both war and crime documentaries seem to really grab my interest.

2011: More me
Like I said in a previous entry, the start of the year started out peaceful, then I started exerting myself, then everybody got sick around the end of the year. Mother for the past few months has been having health trouble. It's like the dog is more healthier than anyone.

- I run katsuki_masako after some urging (and a dream?). Recently, She's been playing the new Monster Hunter 3G, and she gets lost and keeps burning her meat while cooking.

- I think I've learned how to be more patient, and more accepting about myself. In the future, I want to be more reliable. Maybe be a wife one day.

COMMENT: I finished the TV and on the OVA series. I finished Double One (11) and now on Zero Realm. The cars and animation are drawn better, so there is some more intensity. However, since Kazami is more of a seasoned racer and struggles less, he uses less strategy. Also, it's like the same passing and drifting scenes are used. Why are the racers so darn surprised when they're passed?! Also, the boost art is slightly "brighter".

Here's my 5th Sonic memory AND it is going to be about Sonic & Knuckles, which was developed in 1994 for Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. It uses the same sprites as its prequel, Sonic 3, and its game cartridge uses a "Lock-on system" that can attach with the Sonic 3 and Sonic 2 cartridges. Doing this makes Sonic 3 & Knuckles" (a full combo game of Sonic 3 and S & K) and Sonic 2 with Knuckles (it's what it says).

Here's a speedrun of of the entire game (Sonic 3 & Knuckles, all chaos and super emeralds).

While you can play Knuckles in Sonic 3's 2-Player mode only, you can player Knuckles throughout S&K's main game. Cool character; he is a slower (?) than Sonic, can't jump as high, but he makes up for it with his ability to break bricks and GLIDE and climb. Gliding was really fun. He also had a separate route compared to Sonic. Unless you attach Sonic 3 to the cartridge, you can't have Tails. S&K is mostly Solo.

There are new Bonus stages to collect rings and items: a gumball stage and a "gravity glowing sphere" stage. Am I missing one?

Favorite Stages? That's a hard one.

Also, S&K does NOT fail in the music department of course. You have Sandapolis with its stereotypical "Egyptian desert-like" (I don't know how else to explain it) theme; Flying Battery and Death Egg sounds fast-paced, cool, and dangerous at the same time; Sky Santuary sounds heroic and like you were launched high in the air (like Sonic 2's Sky chase, or maybe Wing Fortess?), and peaceful Hidden Place Zone.

When I hear the music of Mushroom Hill (first stage), I feel that it's perfect. Like you can really imagine large plants.
