Day 30: Why do you like Katekyou Hitman Reborn?

This is it, the ending. The sad ending. I have to wonder myself. This answer is more inclined towards the comic. It started with a desire. So, let me start at the beginning.

A bud of mine talked to me about KHR on AIM. When she told me the plot, about a kid being trained to be the boss of a mafia family by a baby-like tutor, I grew interested. It was mainly due to my desire to find a comic based on organized crime. I THINK she also told me it was funny, then it became more "Shonen", so I gave it a shot.

Picked it up, started from the beginning, and caught up to the TYL Arc where the latest chapter was back then.

There are various reasons. I like KHR because of the characters, and it made me desire to keep going and see more.. Especially during the TYL Arc, my favorite. When you start, it's easy to get into because it's funny. You see these different characters, from an explosive expert to a boxer, come together and become the Vongola guardians. THEN! You get into the Varia arc, which I think reinforced my interest.

And o.m.g, Yamamoto...Yamamoto is unafraid of death I swear. He thought being in the Vongola was like roleplaying. Immediately I thought, "Dude I like you!" And he turned out to be so reliable too. I love Yamamoto, that aloof bugger It annoyed me at one point though because he'd bleed to near death and think it's a RPG. I'm like, "Why are you still thinking that?!"

I wanted to see Tsuna develop more, and see how his Hyper Mode was going to be used

One Word: VARIA!

Day 28: Favorite Ending

Again, like before, barely watched the anime. So I have to watch a compilation.

It might be Friend, but I'm still checking. I'll come back and edit if I change my mind.

Day 26: Saddest moment/episode
I don't think they're many, or I can't remember. Three sticks out of my mind:

1.) TYL Arc: Gamma and Aria (?) dying

2.) Shimon Arc: Either Spade dying or the Shimon going to prison, particularly Kaoru and Rauji. I think Adeiheld too. Then Enma got so angry!

3.) LAST COMIC ARC: This is more like an "oh crap" moment, but it felt sad because it looked like it would've ended horribly Vs Jaeger. Just seeing everyone going DOWN in vicious way. Then Tsuna came back and was pissed.

Memory's bad.

Day 24 yesterday and Day 25 today.

Wow, I had a crazy week, but I feel good. Something bright must be ahead.

Day 24: Least favorite Varia


This is quite difficult because they're all awesome. They're such a lovable train wreck, but I guess I have to pick.

*Checks list* I'm going to put Gola Mosca aside. I often associate it to Spanner, plus there's the secret behind it. I'm going to focus more on XANXUS, Mammon, Levi, Bel, Lussy, etc

If I had to choose...if I had to choose... probably Mammon. It's a rough pick, considering his role in the last comic, and he's usually out of the Varia's wackiness. He thinks they're nuts (lol). He was also a little pathetic against Mukuro; a tough thing to say about an Arcobaleno.

I was going to say Levi, but three reasons:
1.) I love Lightning
2.) I didn't want to look prejudice because he's Lambo's ring rival
3.) He's soooo funny with his leader zeal. He lays on the ground and grovels! "PLEASE PLEASE! I'M SORRY! PUNISH ME!"

Day 22: Least favorite Shimon member

mmm...Rauji (大山 らうじ) or Kaoru (水野 薫); there isn't much to these two. Kaoru managed to make up for his very infamous scene with Yamamoto (that scared me...), but he's so quiet and hasn't played much of a significant role.

As for Rauji, I don't want to bash on the big guy, but there isn't much to him either. He is considerate at times.

I can't decide.

Day 20: Anime or manga
Hmm...

When it came to even SS: The LOST CANVAS, I preferred the manga aesthetically. There's some things you can't imitate from the comic.

I was a little disappointed by the anime's animation/art, and of course there is censorship and left out scenes. The majority of the vocal cast is unfamiliar too. I didn't watch all of the anime since I was following with the manga, but who doesn't like cartoons? Tsuna sounds great, I like Yamamoto's cheery voice, and let's not forget Squalo. Also, if it weren't for the anime, would we have character songs?

Still, XANXUS shouldn't sing...

Day 17: Favorite Varia member



It's too easy. Sharky Varia member of arrogance, SUPERBI SQUALO! (スペルビ スクアーロ)

Superbi is plural of Superbo in Italian, meaning proud or arrogance. Each Varia member has a Sin attached to their name (ie: Anger, greed, laziness, envy etc), and Squalo fits his quite well. Squalo itself means "Shark"; his box weapon is based on a shark too.

While XANXUS is cool and strong, Squalo gets plenty of fun scenes through the overall series because he's the right hand and mingles with both the other Varia members and the Vongola 10th members. XANXUS likes to be lazy and moody.

Also, another plus is Squalo in the anime: He's performed by TAKAHASHI HIROKI. That "VOIIII!" Can it be any more perfect? And the voice exudes boastful arrogance quite wonderfully; the way he talks is stupidly over the top. He is not for indoors. Hiroki also sings his rock songs.

Squalo's also the one with the loudest voice in the KHR mafia (lol).

Day 15: Favorite Kokuyo gang member



Rokudo Mukuro (六道 骸)

So far I've been bashing the Kokuyo throughout this entire meme. Mukuro and Chrome has been the only two significant (and strongest) members of the Gang, especially after the Kokuyo arc. If you disagree with me then I'm sorry. And frankly, to my annoyance, Chrome mostly takes the role of a punching bag. For some reason, she has a high following in Japan.

Mukuro has resilience, I tell you. When he's involved, it turns strange; I don't know how he does it when he's in jail. I think TYL Mukuro is great too. sexy.

I'd like Ken more. He has a great ability.

Day 13: Favorite flame (Sky, Rain, Storm, Sun, Lightning, Cloud, Mist)



Another difficult one because they are connected to the Box weapons, and they're all great.

I believe mine is Cloud, which has the propagate ability. It's very flexible, causing things to multiple and increase in size so it can be used for offense and defense. Hibari Kyouya (even YTL) uses it very effectively.
