30 days of Seiyuu Meme (Day 14)
Sep. 5th, 2012 08:31 pmContinuing 30 Days of Seiyuu meme.
Day 14: Your favorite role from your favorite male seiyuu
Geez, and I listed a ton of male seiyuu didn't I? Just because I couldn't decide. Should I answer them all?
Quite difficult because many of the favorites are quite influential in the voice entertainment world. Alright alright...one at a time.
Ueda Yuji (うえだゆうじ): Sagara Sanosuke leaves a big impression. It's such a cool voice! The two english versions could not make Sano sound so much of a tough jerk. Lex Lang was more like 'handsome cool jerk"; Ueda was "Bitch I'll kill you O-rah!" jerk. Because he was a gangster-type character who was a fighter-for-hire and trained his body, he had that funky talking. So he says "rah" a lot. Also, Futae No Kiwami videos all over the net ^-^;;
Furukawa Toshio (古川登志夫): I first met him via Piccolo (Dragonball), and so he is my favorite. Where else are you going to find a cool green guy? It's strange that Ma Junior turned into a strong, mentor figure for Gohan. Throughout the movies. Also, Toshio explained (forget which EXPO) he had strange ways to doing battle cries. So, Piccolo
And I like, "MAKANKOSAPPOOOOO!" Took me a while to figure out, but it's one of my favorite moves in the Dragonball series.
Hiyama Nobuyuki (檜山修之): It's probably be Kouta and Kogoro HAD I exposed myself to Highschool of the Dead and Sgt. Keroro a bit more (and they LOOK LIKE HIM!). ;-; Hiei's one of my favorite Yuyu Hakusho characters, but I think Hiyama really shines as Shishioh Guy in GAOGAIGAR FINAL. It's just that, there's many characters like Guy...and I can't pinpoint a favorite. Everybody likes Ikkaku.
Nakai Kazuya (中井和哉): I haven't watch Gintama or ONE PIECE fully; Toshiro and Zoro are equally damned fun. Second thought, Gintama is so strange and funny, and Toshiro (Parody of Hijikata Toshizo)....and he likes mayonaise. Also, Data Masamune. I CAN'T PICK! I CAN'T PICK! Geehhh...Let's go with Gintama's Toshizo. He has a bit of everything. And he was before Date ^-^;
Furuya Toru (古谷徹): No idea. I can't pick one.
Matsumoto Yasunori (松本 保典): Introduced to him by Gourry Gabriev(SLAYERS series).
Seki Tomokazu (関智一): Can't pick. He and Furuya have the "hero syndrome", so they're both all over the place playing righteous heroes, idiots, etc. I can't even remember where I first seen him.
Hiyama being a moron. "TOH!"
Let's have fun with Furuya Toru as Yamcha. "Rouga Fufu ken! HAIYIYIYI!" (Wolf Hurricane)

Doggie Week: Sept 5: Shabadoubee Snacks

Henshin a BYE BYE! SWITCH OFF!
Halfway through the week again. I think I spent most of Tuesday just relaxing because I had the niece from Friday to Monday morning. Ugh! I missed her, yes, but...geez. I am more bothered, AGAIN, by how immensely stupid that baby's parent is. I don't want to talk about it because...it's not to be unexpected. Also, I'm tired of talking about it. No, "Dark rant" this week. I don't feel like doing that. I said already I didn't like foolish parents.
It's just really sad that she's GONE and yet she still creates pressure.
Umm...my previous week?
Nothing much. Might end up the same away again this week: Lots of procrastination. I told myself that I wanted to wake up early and finish up GARO, but it never happened.
I FINISHED Kamen Rider Fourze! I finished IGLOO (talked about it already), and I watched Kamen Rider Wizard yesterday.
Kamen Rider Fourze Impressions (Spoilers!)
I had fun!
Emoto made me sad. Just sad.
I'll never understand the pursuit of human evolution. Gamou should've known he was going to kill everybody, including all the kids in the school. I don't believe he was that good of a villain (when he was an astronaut); IMO, in the end, he put aside his radical dream and accepted Gen so easily after being beaten. The Sagittarius Horoscope was amazing though. I will say that he had a calm, stylish character.
Another thing that bothered me was Ryuusei's betrayal during the Aries eps. Was he that anxious? OF course, if Gen wasn't in a huge pickle, he wouldn't get cosmic power I guess.
I thought I was going to see the Presenters, or maybe a different final boss.
NARUTO (comic)
Oh yeah, there's the NARUTO stuff. I congratulate the comic for reaching up to chapter 600 this week. Everyone's up in arms about it.
I don't want to get into that. I'm too dumb. Now certainly, he could be around when the Massacre happened. I like to think he's some kind of ghost or he's stuck somewhere between life or death (like a vengeance or a bitter ghost). I thought that'd be connected to this time-space technique, but it turns out it's connected to his eye technique (doujutsu). How long was he under that rock?
So...
I don't know. We'll have to see. I'll have to do some wikia reading.
OK! WIZARD
My impressions of KR Wizard? Well, NO time wasting! Three to five minutes in, we learn about the rider's powers. The main character, Souma Haruto, already has his gear and heads to the fight. He uses these tons of magic rings, machine animals (called "Pla-Monsters"), and a gun-sword. Wizard itself looks pretty cool. But, for a first ep, lots of stuff thrown at me. Made my head spin.
Which reminded me, there are two characters on "SAINT SEIYA OMEGA" named Souma AND Haruto. Found that pretty interesting.
Also...very obnoxious Henshin Driver (device to transform). CRAZY! Did it seriously say "Touch and shake"? Cause both the Driver and the gun blade has a hand on it.
Before transforming, it says "Shabadoubi TOUCH HENSHIN" (シャバドゥビタッチヘンシン)! I was so...bewildered. Doesn't even stop there. Then we have, "{style} Please!" For example, "FLAME! Please!". The styles, so far, are Land (for earth; yellow body), Flame (for fire; red body), Hurracane (for wind; green body).
Then the driver talks Japanese when the style is picked, depending on the style. Like Flame, is "Hi hi hi hi hi!" (火; hi; fire). Land is "do do do" (土; earth); wind is "fuu fuu fuu (風)". "Flame! Please!"
So if water appears, will it me "Mi" or "Sui"? I think "do" had some drums beating to it ^-^:
Haruto uses a ton of rings aside from the flame/land/wind type rings. Pulling it out his ass (ok, maybe his coat) I had to go on the official website to figure out what they were and what they looked like. Still need to examine...oyoyi. There's a ring called "Kick Strike". Awesome ;)
There must be a lot of things I need to learn about this tokusatsu series.

This is so ...amazing. ^^; Some reason.
And here's that wacked Wizard Driver.
