GAROS & Gundams

It's Saturday and I'm attempting an all-day watch marathon; also, Maplestory training? SO far so good, I finished GARO (1st season), and I watched the Gundam Unicorn #5 and HELLSING Ultimate #9.

So, I have two "movie specials" (Byakuya and Kiba Gaiden) and Red Requiem (Full length movie) to watch before starting season 2 (Also 25 eps?). Goodness. SO much.

First season? Or my impression of GARO so far? I almost regret watching it sometimes ;) When eating. Like MS IGLOO, "GARO" shows the worse in people. Never seen anything like it, and so many ragdoll beatdowns too.

I have my questions but maybe I'll read about it later after finishing the series completely.

GUNDAM UNICORN

I'd really enjoy Unicorn a lot more if...

IF I could fully comprehend what's going on. When everything is put together nicely, it's a winner. Characters, combat, story, etc; Gundam is about mecha, politics, war, etc

Can I really become a good fan? Is this just a weakpoint of mine? Or maybe this animation is a mess and is getting too much credit. It's either that or I'm military fiction-retarded after all.

Gonna do seiyuu meme, and I have to update katsuki_masako.

Day 15: Your favorite role from your favorite female seiyuu

Ok, I did the male version the last time. So now it's for the female version.

I'll go with Katsuki Masako instead. Mmm, a lot of people, if they wanted to correlate any character with the name Katsuki Masako, they'd usually say Reccoa, Celi, Maria, Hilda, Tsunade, Michiru/Neptune, Tiara, Samantha.

I'm more familiar with Michiru and Tsunade. They're in long series, but Michiru probably shows more interesting scenes.

I enjoy Tsunade's anger fits and strong voice, but because of the direction of the anime, she doesn't often get a chance to show off her fiery ambition and attachment to her companions as much as Michiru Kaioh does. Tsunade is also pretty straight-forward.

GANYMEDE, who had a michiru/neptune fansite, could explain it loads better than I can. The Talisman Reveal episode is popular; Michiru has a voice that can be calm and girly cute when teasing her "most trusted partner" Haruka/Uranus, or when reflecting on her mission on taking a life. On the other hand, Michiru can also shout in great concern for her partner (or when she's getting hurt ^-^:). And they're both a gay couple, and that's still amazing. Ogata Megumi seemed to have really loved K's performance.

Sailor Moon itself is an interesting series.

I don't know Maria, Tiara, and Hilda that much to nominate them. I enjoy Katsuki's singing in the the Maria Trapp SDTK, but it isn't much to hear.

And omg, the Michiru/Haruka fans are....I don't know if it's "amazing" or "crazy".

So I'll say Michiru.

Day 16: The seiyuu with the worst singing voice

I don't like these questions, but I can actually answer this better compared to the other "negative" topics.

Maybe I have not been looking good enough, but I can't seem to find a good Miki Shinichirou (三木眞一郎) song. At least not many? I'm not sure what it is. I came across one, but the title is forgotten (I have to check my mail).

"WING FORM" of Kamen Rider Den-O is tolerable but I prefer Sword form!, but I seem to often hear Miki and many others in rap or obnoxious rock. He doesn't sing in rap, y'know!? Then there's songs that he just talks. I'll have to keep looking. Maybe I'm just unfortunate.

Day 17: The series with the best cast overall

I have a few ideas: A LOT of the Shounen JUMP shows (ie: ONE PIECE, Dragonball, etc), Gundam series, POKEMON, Anpanman.

In Gundam, a more rookie or new name voice actor is often selected for the main character, familiar names or veterans are selected as supporting cast, especially those from previous shows. Sometimes, veterans are put along with the main cast as "important assistant characters".

Erm. if that makes sense. I'm thinking of Lockon and Setsuna (MikisShina and Miyano Mamoru), and then there's the Bernett brothers in G-UNIT (Tsukui Kyōsei & Yuuki Hiro. The latter being slightly a junior)

Down along the line of gundam content, many of the seyiuu are reused.

Namikawa Daisuke and Kamiya Hiroshi have been appearing in recent gundam shows plenty. Now, Kazuya Nakai has like three characters: Edgar, an original character for SD Gundam (forgot name), and Witz (from X). Tsujitani Koji has three or four characters?

Shounen JUMP shows? Lots of people participate. Especially in NARUTO and ONE PIECE. Wow. Just about anyone can appear. The same can be said for Pokemon and Anpanman. Just about anyone.
