Glad I have a notebook

Okay, so I got my computer back and as promised...some blogging. After this entry is a "ZODIAC MEME" that I had just recently finished. So what happened while my computer was done? Aside from snowy weather.

THANK YOU NOOK
I'd like to thank my Nook (and my game consoles) for getting me through my computer being in the shop. Because of it, I am almost finished with the novel Gundam Sentinel.

Funeral
An uncle of mine has passed March 1st and his funeral is Monday. Next week is gonna be busy for me...

Uncle was handicapped; did drugs, drink/smoke, and had a wheelchair. Tried to do things right; father said he was a good-hearted person. Will regret make you see thing clearly?

I had another weird dream!
When you sleep well you have long dreams, apparently. So, last week I had a dream about Full Metal Alchemist (FMA). Finally! Something that was fun and comforting, but it was pretty strange. And why did I have a dream about FMA? Aside from the tribute website like maybe two or three weeks ago, I have not been checking anything FMA-related.

AIR FORCE Tragedy
I like the U.S Air Force, military in general, and heard that two airmen (or was it pilots/officers?) were shot and killed in Germany recently. I thought it was strange at first, why a weirdo would shoot just two people (God Forbid he'd shoot more, it's just the focus) and apparently it was instigated by something. Americans, in the middle of Germany. Before I think and say anymore, let me look into it further.

Starfox Thoughts
Just a random thought I had about the Upcoming Starfox 64 remake for 3DS. I think it should be like Megaman Powered Up: New version and classic version. New version having new voice overs, remixed music, different enemy actions (especially bosses), etc; classic is like N64.

Also, unlock James McCloud! Not fox with shades, a James Route!

On TV and Horror Movies
So, I got hooked back to the TV. Watching shows from TruTV, and horror/gore movies from the new Friday The 13th (with the fast Jason Vorhees) to older ones such as Starship Troopers.

I also watched The Watchmen, which seemed faithful to the comic. I wanted to get back to Wikipedia A.S.A.P because I had trouble following, and I wanted to know the character's names. At least, the "Superhero names". I kept confusing Rorschach with "Warshack" even though that doesn't make sense at all! And the credits were TOO small.

combining Watchmen and Friday, I had a nice show of sex and breasts. And remember, if you have sex at Crystal Lake, you're totally dead. I think if you even aspire to have sex or if you're lewd, you die. Those teens make me smirk on Friday the 13th.

Can't believe it (New Community)
I actually got enough nerve to click onthis featured community tarantulalovers. I'm not a fan of spiders at all, but I thought tarantulas has cute beady eyes and I wanted to know the charm of people keeping them as pets. Already, I know of the names of different species just by reading the place.

Now I know who #3 is, the character's name is Itoh Makoto (伊藤 誠) from the porno/adult game SCHOOL DAYS. It also had a TV animation. Never watched/played it so that's why I didn't know. I really wanted to know because the fellow had a cute face and I wondered why he was detestable.

From what I gathered, from Wiki to Youtube (and badly translated comments on MoonLight), Makoto is:
- Non-empathetic
- Cheats on girls, A LOT (says that one girl is "tiresome")
- To quote one comment, "Sex Monster".
- A rapist
- Seems to be straight-faced when he does all of this

I guess the only reason he was beaten by two NARUTO characters because of NARUTO's international popularity. We're talking U.S, Middle East, Australia, etc. So, for him to be in TOP 3, next to fictional International stars, I'd say he screwed up a lot to deserve it in the eyes of watchers/gamers ;)

These polls show how close-minded, or maybe the little exposure we have towards anime. Naruto, Cowboy Bebop, DEATH NOTE, Code Geass, Dragonball, Ghost in the Shell, Cardcaptor Sakura, Neon Genesis EVA, BLEACH, they top the polls for both "like" and "dislike" characters. Because, the lot of them have dubs!

The "Top 10 Female Characters" is pretty interesting though...until #1: Hyuuga Hinata (NARUTO). While I like her, put her at #1? Must be a ninja syndrome.

I'll...I'll do it
I think I'll do it: A LJ Community for K. Masako (AKA: K-sensei). It may not look the best, because I don't have Photoshop and can't make gifts, BUT I think my appreciation for her and my support for her is enough. I was also nervous about leading.

Been wondering what catches my attention the most in comics. I don't think I gave it much thought. What do I think makes a winning comic? SAme with reading books.

More on Hated character
Because I joined hated_character, I just remembered something that I watched on NICO DOUGA.

According to Moonlight Fantasia, these are polled the TOP 10 disliked MALE anime characters by overseas watchers ahem, outside of Japan. This is data gathered in 2010.

I recognize most of them (maybe not the reason) except two, sort of. I know Raki (#9) of CLAYMORE only by name, but I don't know who the boy character at SCHOOL DAYS (#3) is. So what's the problem with Raki and SCHOOL DAYS person?

Gotta love that DEATH NOTE music (and I'm not much of a rock person..)

I didn't think I'd see Yagami Light considering how much the chicks dig him. Lol, it's okay Shinji. I like you!

I don't see Hayase Kouichi. But he probably gotten over his character...Sure he had an inferiority problem too.
