It's a nice morning. Nice time for blogging.

[ Sad RANT/Suck COMMUNITIES ]
I always had this on my mind. Just a small irk I have with Rant communities that I wanted to put down, but the bad part about this is that I MIGHT look like I'm bitching after a banning. I will admit, I do have a little heat that's pushing me from lethargy and making me post.

But the following is all too clear:

Like from a place such as [livejournal.com profile] bad_rpers_suck, WHY is it is that I see less positive reactions to fanfics/roleplayers/etc.

Here's the thing: these communities have an antithesis, but those don't have as much posting or activity force. The example it's trying to show is that we bask in the glory of giving out negative criticism?

I get the point of rants andsuck communities, and that you complain, but you either attract those who share the same blind aggravation as you or you actually make a detailed rant with facts (ie: [livejournal.com profile] hated_character) Lots of these communities are extremely picky.

And No, I wasn't mentioned in any of these communities from what I've seen.

Good Rpers Rock: Over 1,300 Journal Entries since its founding in 2004
Bad Rpers Suck: Over 30,000 Journal Entries since its founding in in 2002
fanficrants: Over 39,800 entries/2002.
Ficrecfriday: Over 480, founded in 2008.
[livejournal.com profile] writers_muses: Over 2,400 Journal Entries/2006.

Bad_Fic_Quote defeats the last two with over 4,000 entries. The critic community [livejournal.com profile] oc_analysis (Original Character Analysis), which I think would be very useful, has only 1,400 entries in only eight years.

Here's a small opposite example:

The com "Twilight Sucks" has over 5,800 entries and was founded in 2008. The com "twilightbook", for fans of the series, has over 6,600 entries and was founded in 2005. The older Pro-Twilight com is slightly leading though.

[ Sonic the Hedgehog Memories ]

Like I mentioned in a previous entry, Sonic the Hedgehog has turned twenty years old last June. I like to share some memories, but I'll do that in the next entry since I need to take care of a few things. When I come back, I'll spill my heart out.

So I'll start with a photo!

My ol' Sonic 3 Gamebook!

I'm also aware of the passing of Kawakami Tomoko (川上 とも子), but didn't want to speak of it. It was difficult. Seeing sorrowful comments, but at the same time endearing comments and tributes, was too much. Her surname's kinda cool: It's like River Superiority. .

Ahh Kawakami Tomoko san...RIP.

Paku Romi san was on a depress rage on her blog about her when it happened.

That's how I noticed.

I read on Wiki that Paku san and Kawakami san,
were both in the same period when trained to be seiyuu.
I guess they might have been quite close friends or something.

Her Shindou Hikaku Role from Hikaru no Go,
does bring back alot of memories.

Too bad she had to leave this world. Orz

x.x I don't think I would be able to stand seeing Paku sad. When it comes to blogs and celeb death, you can find feelings being expressed a lot.

Gouri Daisuke's was pretty sad. I saw blog entries from Minaguchi Yuko and Inoue KAzuhiko, but endearing comments from Minaguchi's blog (her readers, fans, etc) actually made me (and her) feel better.

;_; Paku said Thank you

Man...I did something dumb.

So I was on BLEACH wikia, checking different chars. I checked Soi Fon (Cause she's in a noble family); Then I checked Kawakami's wiki article, and saw both Romi's comment AND BLOG.

I nearly cried...

BUT! She is strong now because of reassuring comments form others.

If Paku won't cry then no one should!

勇気をありがとう…
