Manual vs Transmission
Jul. 4th, 2010 01:10 amMaybe I better stop saying "I'll be right back [soon]" in an entry, because I never do. And I often have something else that I want to talk about.
What is it with science?
So one of my curiousities of this week was Automatic vs Manual since my love of cars has rekindled, but it turns out I don't know that much. Everytime I read about Manual (and engines), it's like I can't get myself to fully understand it. Maybe Wikipedia isn't that reliable and just thrust you into the complex details, or that's how it feels to me. I guess I should find a good "About Vehicles" book or look into my old Ford Chronicle I haven't picked up in years.
Of course, people on youtube want to degrade Americans for using Automatic gearing in cars. Hey, that's youtube for you. I'm going with what came with the package. My car doesn't have a clutch pedal or a 4-6 speed. I remember asking parents about it at times in the past, who have been driving out of the U.S (and mother who wasn't born/raised in U.S).
So, each time I blog, I should put down car trivia.
Birthday Jinx???
Is it just me or is it like on every birthday, or sometime after, something weird happens to you? Like some kind of body ache? Especially when you're older?
My dad had something funny happen to him abruptly, but I won't talk about it.
Speaking of that...
Takeshi
Earlier of June, One of my TOP 3 "old man V.As"; Aono Takeshi (b-day is June 19) is hospitalized from a stroke after aortic aneurysm surgery.
Shimada Bin, who I think is pretty cool, will take Aono's place on the shows Maruko-chan (as Maruko's grandfather) and Dragonball Kai (as Kami). Bin is called the "King of Super Robo Series soldiers". I personally call him King of Eldran.
I hope Aono gets better. I think he's pretty darn cool. One active ol' guy!

Gotta love LIVE gameplay, especially tournaments. Watching Guy battle is a lot of fun. Makes me want to work on my Samurai Showdown skills then. I'll go prepare on maybe Monday?
