Baro comes from Conan's famous slur of "Baka yarou" in referring to Ran's dad under his breath. I think my favorite role of hers was Nabiki from Ranma. Her voice just sounds naturally sarcastic, and I'm pretty impressed with how she can have the same inflections as Conan, but sound different just by not making her enunciation as sharp and by lowering her voice so very little. You can recognize it as the same seiyuu (which is intentionally a large part of the joke of those episodes--she was married to the manga artist, too...) but if you're not looking at the screen you can still tell who's talking every time.
