If I remember correctly, 46 states have budget issues - not to mention our own federal government keeps adding more debt. All those Wisconsin teachers protesting the potential loss of union benefits could easily lose their jobs if their state cannot meet its budget. And they pulled teenagers out of class to protest with them. The teenagers don't know why they are protesting; they just love a day out of class. Our country's situation is more like Greece than like Egypt. Greece's problems are economic-based; Egypt's problems are political-based. In order to save our economy/budget, programs will have to be sacrificed, and I doubt that will please the people involved in those programs.
