"not difficult to make good money".

Why do I always find that professional, showoff academic jackass? I guess I can't say anything since I don't own a business or can't make "good money". They are clever: They talk too much, and are in the spotlight. Workplaces always make you feel like you're a dump for being there if it's not consistent with your experience or degree.

Buddy, I wasn't that good in bookkeeping or accounting. I have this tendency to get brain scrambled when it comes to recording numbers and writing it down. It's a strange thing; I was always slow in math. Why do I need to go into BA? A school for leadership? Isn't that strange?

But this is a kid who is easily cocky and "perfect". There's other stories, but I won't bother.

Anyways, this is about editorials and visualizing the content.

With the time I have, and situation that I am in, I can't meet with such demands like +1000k words per day, I'm sad to say. I guess it's all about willpower. I am imagining Daily Planet and Clark Kent. 1000k can be an average number for a newspaper article depending on what it's about.

Why am I rambling about this? Because these days, it's high demand to ask someone online for something, even if its for simple tasks. And to pay for little substance.

I am into both the research and personal experience combined, especially when it comes to reviewing or reporting video games, rather than going by another's "record" of what happens or an opinion, or "word of mouth". Unless it's an article about "what others believe".

Reporters are "what happens" currently and spreading the ongoing details; "announcers" watch and tell you what's going on, having a sense of technique knowledge on what they're spectating on. Such as the hooks of boxing, or the overtakes of racing.

Do I ride roller coasters or talk about what others say?

But maybe my biggest weakness is multi-tasking? I don't find it a great idea while writing.

Maybe I'm rambling because of the lack of details in regards to this "demand". I'll think about it.

I don't know how, or know if I can do it successfully, but I really want to do it. This is despite what I said in my last entry.

So, the company of GUMI is hosting an art contest based on BRAVE FRONTIER, which I had mentioned before in one of my gaming rambles. In a nutshell, it's a time of game that messes with your obsessive compulsiveness; just like pokemon, you look for various units to put in your party.

My sketchbook is a mess. Munchkin is getting too wild and I can't really put in time to practice.

I also thought of an zealous "astronaut", or someone who wants to reach pass the sky or go to the moon. Her name is Raitt.

I forgot how to have fun.

And frustration stems from the babysitting, especially when I have a day off. Being bogged down on my day off just makes me feel hatred more. On the good side, I may have a chance to follow my "wish".

Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed (MOBILE)
Played it on IOS, and deleted it just recently. There are interesting race games on the phone, but when it all comes down to it, I am more traditional and prefer to play these kind of games on console. You think it'd be fine. Phone can work like either a miniaturized D-pad controller where you can use your thumbs to both steer and gas/brake, or you tilt the phone to steer. The phone is small and not that reliable when it comes to electrical signals, so I mostly played SASRT using the steer-motion controls. The gas is automatic. Game had the right feel: There was intensity, and it was frustrating, squeezing the phone like you would a controller, and it was challenging and fun enough for me to keep playing. Fun enough that I might want to pick it up for console one day. But it's me squeezing the phone while squinting at where I'm going at the same time, not entirely accurate controls (especially with stunts/drifts, which are considerably important), that just makes it annoying. Thanks to that button, I don't think I ever shot an item backwards. You also can't look behind you.

As for gameplay, it is interesting. There are invisible walls on the water and air sections, especially air! Such a shame, and it takes me right out of the flying. Sometimes my controls invert.

On the good side, aside from racing, there are a variety of missions. I dislike the restricted battle mode of Mario Kart, and SASRT's only has the advantage of using the vehicle the way it should be used: On the track, racing. However, maybe due to the quality of a mobile game, item pickup is small so it makes it easy to miss. With that said, that also makes the battle tank mode a bit difficult. I can't say I'm good at dodging projectiles. Traffic mode is a good idea.

Not sure how many stages are there on the mobile version, but I need that Sunshine Tour music. It's called Vamos A Carnaval! Se-gui-mos cantaaaaando! Se-gui-mos bailaaaaaando!

Good music in the game overall, but of course it's Sega. Not only Samba Di Amigo, but also from the Sonic series (like Sonic CD), Outrun, Panzer Dragoon, and Jet Set Radio.

Note to self, I might need to modify my tags. I added Watchlist Ramble.

I have "Doggie Week" and "Doggie World". Not sure what I was thinking. Of course, "D.Week" was supposed to cover what happened in the seven days of each week, but "World" is more universal. It's all about me, what I did, and what happened. I probably should just remove "Week". It has about three times as less tags than "World".

In fact:

Well, as usual, a miserable week. I am getting extra frustrated with my niece, and it keeps me up late at night since that seems to be the only time I can get some peace and do what I wish. But I haven't been sleeping properly as it is lately. She says the darn-dest things that just melts the heart.

"No fighting, and no yelling."

"Baby needs a hug."

I want to quote as much as I can, but my memory can't maintain.

In the Watchlist World: Aldnoah ended, I haven't watched the Ronja final yet (I'm not in a rush) or the GARO animation final, Gundam Reconguista of G is over, and I finally watched Gundam The Origin.

I'll ramble about Gundam Reco another time, if that's possible. Not sure if I can even describe it. It is such a random show; I really can't believe how silly it was.

To quote another guy: "G Reco's barrier to entry is too much for me to recommend it to anyone. It'll be like telling people to run thru a doorway w/ unseen glass."Loved the comedy though.

Gundam The Origin suffers from a lack of animation budget, and there are shoes to fill after being spoiled by GUNDAM UNICORN, but I think ORIGIN is pretty good. Violence AND comedy. Fantastic.

[ GERMAN PLANE CRASH ]
I am not sure why anyone would allow a guy with not just only mental issues, but insignificant amount of flying hours, to fly a commercial airplane, especially with many passengers. I am sure that you need to be an officer.

It's a shame.

[ MOBILE GAME ]
Phone is giving me a little bit of sanity since I can't keep up with new console or console games, and life just sucks.

Peggle Blast gets harder or more unfair on the way up. I feel that it may end up like Candy Crush, and force me to slip it some pocket change just for a few extra turns. But I like achieving things through hard work, and that includes strong character and winning. and I'm paying through my data-loaded phone bill after all

I have no idea why I'm playing something as grueling as "Sonic & ALL STARS: Transformed" ON THE PHONE. I have to do easy mode ~_~ Why do I play racing games on the stupid phone? It's horrible! But yet, it's still fun from what I gather from it, and I may want it on console one day. Interesting themes (or mode) for the races, outside of battle and time trials, and the stages have different pathways. STILL, there are invisible walls, especially during flight mode and it's annoying.

Not to mention niece overlord wants to play it ^-^; Even though she has no idea what to do. She says, "can I have phone?" or "I wanna play car!" Is she becoming Petrolhead?

Last article: SKYWARD SWORD Pt 1

Why not?

Sometimes, in my chair, I have bad posture. I lean back and look sideways, typing with one hand from time to time. It's suitable if I was watching something. Going to just sit, look forward at the screen, and see if it helps circulation.

Sunday is miserable. So from past weeks, I had mouth sores and I think an earache (or did I say that the last time?). So, for the sores, I guess I should just lay off sodas and sweets for a good while. Try to find something else to drink along with water with lunch and dinner.

but can't shake the habit sometimes. Recently been drinking club soda.

Anyways, back to Skyward Sword. I didn't talk about the puzzles/dungeons the last time. I'm not a sharp knife, so if I get stumped somewhere, it's just a Zelda game being Zelda game. Backtracking, guesses, and revelations through exploring. I avoided checking the FAQ for the most part, and the game helped me to pay attention to detail, but there has been some times where I get upset with myself because I felt too dumb. One particular dungeon requires me to stab something (by thrusting the wii remote) so that I could carry it and propel it somewhere, and I didn't know that I had to do it. There was no hints; matter of fact, I didn't know I could do that. You don't do it often either.

A lot of the tools, and chest openings (DA DA DA DAAAA!) are...useless and uneventful, and you don't get the best/familiar items til later. Read more... ). I think maybe 70% or so chests are treasure that you can collect to upgrade your items. Also, I can't stand passive items sometimes. Why would I work so hard for such things as a main story reward? In Zelda, they can be pretty useful such as an anti-ice thing, but it only fits best with a particular dungeon theme. It's better for RPGs when facing elemental enemies various times. Not like Read more... )

As for some of the items:

Read more... ). Futhermore, I have a very limited hold inventory, and I have to buy slots. I guess it's unfair, especially with the magic medals involved.

Despite showing my disappointment, I don't want to ridicule everything, as there are a couple items unique to Skyward that are interesting, such as the Beetle and Bug Net. I think Bug hunting (and bird/tumbleweed catching) is definitely fun as each insect is unique.

Like Windwaker, Ocarina, Majora, and Twilight, I was looking for the "fear factor" of Skyward Sword, and it does exist. In my opinion; I'm just a real chicken, and the first time it wasn't good. In short, a place where you feel powerless. Read more... ).

I think what Skyward Sword misses is subsidiary time of combat. In Twilight Princess there was horseback riding. It was slightly annoying, but I was very exciting.

Hi.

Middle of the week, I wanted to rant about something. Sometimes I can't help but question others' stupidity, or how a person thinks, especially when it comes to being "a man" or "a woman' (AKA: an adult), or what "love" is.

But then, I thought "no" and stopped myself because it's just stupid. It's also obvious. I can't expect anything better from a particular person.

If I wanted to blog about a problem, I probably want to with the purpose of making others think twice. News articles can do the same.

Like I said before, I don't like giving off a bad impression too much, and I also said that it won't make me feel better. Social media can lead others through a lie, show only one side of a story, and personally those who complain the most are the others who cause the most problems. Least that's my opinion.

Right now, I need to learn how to not be frustrated.

What I do want to know is what's next for me? Thinking about it, I must be afraid of returning to school because of a few memories. I was into art (ie: Drawing, pottery) and automobiles, and I even did...eh, I can't even recall what it was. Something for PCs. It was highly assumed by family members that I was great with PCs just because I use it often. If I don't remember, it goes to show how much I didn't care. I prefer to use the PC for hobby or research.

No, I don't want to talk about Mr. Nemoy. Not in the mood. Made me a little upset.

[ TEAM ISHIDA ]

Never played phone games outside of Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja because I am just attached to console gaming, but I guess frustration got the better of me and I wanted to test the flexibility of the phone. Went do far to download Chess, Checkers and Sudoku.

"I need something to do while I take a breather" I just thought. I was especially looking for a RPG. So I foound Brave Frontier (header photo) and "Chain Chronicle (SEGA; 2nd photo). I am also playing "build games" such as Samurai Siege and Clash of Clans, but I just might remove them. I also briefly played Zenonia 4. While Zeno4 looked very interesting, I can't use the touch d-pad. Absolutely not. Not comfortable with it at all or any games that use it.

Being used to the conventional RPG with level grinding, Brave Frontier is pretty annoying because it uses a "fuse system" to make the characters stronger. They don't level up in battle. In the first photo are three five-star (or very rare) characters and it's still difficult. I even have 4-star Earth Pike Lance and I have to evolve him with a couple more materials.

Voice actor Ishida Akira (石田彰) voices over 40 characters in Chain Chronicle. Plenty of pretty guys or kids, but there is also burly dudes like Greg (above) and old men/veterans like Cervantes (Who says "Wakazo gaaaaa!" or "Greenhorn!"). SASUGA ISHIDA!

Not sure of the thought on the hero's name (you pick your own). I guess it's close to Aghanim, Athrun and Arslan.

Lots of Uchida Maaya too; apparently Yanagita Junichi (柳田淳一) plays a lot of loud or fired up characters, so far my fav being Dusty. Maybe I'll do another screenshot with Ishida characters one day.

Tokkyuger and fanfic project next.

IGN: "Why do people hate Skyward Sword so much?
About Wii: Why Misguided Critics are Hating on Skyward Sword

Well I certainty don't regret playing it at all. I am playing both Skyward Sword and SNES's retro Link to the Past (Triforce of Gods). So I get a good taste of both retro 16-bit zelda and the post-Ocarina time that seems to become the console zelda revolutionized into 3-D. Or the latter seems to be today's most popular image of zelda for consoles. Even after Ocarina, there were slide-screen 2-D games such as Minish Cap and Link between Worlds. Phantom Hourglass is 3-D, but closer to the older "over the character's head" style. I'm not that good with game terms.

I was annoyed that the Wiimotion (or just the adapter) was required for Skyward, when the device/remote doesn't seem to be fundamental in many other games, nor does it improve the function of the Wii Remote. But soon as I got my hands on the adapter and immersed myself more into the game, and this is especially after the gap of time due to having to buy another wiimotion adapter, Skyward became more entertaining.

The more I tried towards this game, the better I got. The controls were an issue but easily adaptable. Actually, they're kind of impressive. The sword strikes are swift and effective. Link's sword was always quick when you tapped the button. I just wish there was weapon parrying (nut I guess that is not necessary when you have a shield. You can swing back projectiles.)

I thought the controls wouldn't work out since I am going from plug-in controller play to unconventional sensor play. In fact, I was considered about that with the Wii system overall when I first purchased it. "I can't play with a motion controller. The whole experience will end up weird. And what if the signals won't pick up?"

And sometimes it doesn't. I ended up plugging that adapter in and out, but most of the time it works well. Well, skydiving...not really. I thought it was an interesting idea for Nintendo to go along with.

Now I'm more determined to get back into Hyrule Historia. Skyward begins in Skyloft, a floating island where everyone travels using Loftwings (giant birds). As a plane enthusiast, this is perfect. And you can fly and leap off the bird. Unfortunately, the traveling world in the air isn't that big, and controlling it is painful in the beginning. I don't think you do much when it comes to Loftwing Activity.

Like with Twilight Princess, there's horseback riding and it was also a subsidiary way of combat. It was slightly annoying, but I was very exciting because of how you faced the enemies. You lack that with the Loftwing. At least, that's what I've faced so far.

So far, I thought the bosses were a bit better. One I thought was a bit frustrating due to a particular thing you have to do because of the boss's immunity, but after Twilight Princess, I am impressed (Stallord is still the best?).

I died at least once at every TP boss (and they were mostly easy), but I didn't have the same case with SS bosses even though they were a little more tricky. The controls do contribute to the difficulty, since many bosses require specific pinpoint strikes, but the bosses do have a unique style. I liked the one in the Cistern. For Link to the Past, some ranged from easy to determining it all with speed and luck. The latter is due to a lot of things happening at the same time while you're trying to hit the boss, and LoTP forces you to bring a plenty of heart potions. I don't think I've faced that same frustration in SS. That might not be possible to emit in a 3-D Zelda, especially with sensor controls, or you'll jsut end up breaking the tv.

When I wake up:
- The Puzzles
- Fear Factor??
- Attention to Detail
- Uneventful Chest opens
- Limited Inventory + why arrows if bow is late!!!
- Some items are useless

Another game ramble.

I still have some business before I let go of my PS2 Lite and my N64. And it turns out my Diddy Kong Racing and Mario Tennis cartridge are gone. I must've gave them away to a friend? I don't remember, but the person I had in mind is someone I don't speak to anymore.

[ MR2 ]
My progress of Monster Rancher, 2 years ago (SPOILERS: NOTHING IS COVERED!)

I forgot that there is more that I need to do for Monster Rancher 2. I need to unlock and raise a Beaclon. Difficult; I can't remember if I have a CD with a worm on it or not. I might've froze one.

Also, I need to raise a Metalner and Undine. I'm on my Salamander (Zuum/Dragon). I still want to raise a great Phoenix and Durahan. Thinking about it now, it feels like it'll take years.

[ Breath of Fire 3 & 4 ]
Just remembered.
My primary goal for Breath of Fire 3 is to get max fishing points (9999) and to get a prized pen, but in BoF 4 there is: Retrieving the Goo King Sword, defeating Rider, and strengthening the demon sword. I don't think its actually called "Demon Sword". I'll have to check on its name; Rider is like the Berserker and Archmage of BoF4, a super enemy. I suppose it is not a high priority, but it would make me feel good.

[ OGRE BATTLE 64 ]
I only thing that I remember doing is seeking for the highest lawful ending that I could get. I might've been trying to get all of the Elm Pendras and unlocking more rarer classes such as the Princess. I think there is an Angel class, and it's incredibly difficult. This is a tough game with plenty of replay value (IMO). I might not be able to fully unveil everything.

Did you know that I only unlocked the Black Knight once?

[ PKMN STADIUM! ]
For once, I actually JUST RECENTLY Read more... ). But now, there is something called R-2 stadium.

This will take a lot of compulsive gaming.

SO, after getting the previous entry out of the way...

I'm locked in a land of repetitive "family life" and lack of funds.

I wanted to get a handheld for my hobbies regardless of bossy niece, but I'll just lose my head if I can't relax. Or just enjoying something that I like to do like read, watch TV, or play games. Some leisure.

I gave my Gamecube away. I thought it was going to sell at a bazaar, but was told that it's serving its purpose with another family member. No matter how outdated it is, it still does what it does best: Helping people have fun. I gave away my games too, including Smash Bros Melee, so fun is definite.

It was a hard choice. I just told myself that my systems were collecting dust and that I don't have time to play. I have to look ahead for the newer generation because I felt like I was stuck being behind. I also played enough. I couldn't finish my Heart and Poe quests in Twilight Princess; don't think I was interested in gaining 100% in Metroid Prime 2 either; I didn't complete my event battles and trophy gaining in Smash Bros and I don't think that I could.

I, however, kept Twilight Princess in hopes of selling it. Sending away Mario Party was not easy; I don't think I'll miss Double Dash that much, especially when there's Kart Wii, and the Mario Kart series just gets better and better as it ages (just like Smash Bros series). Double Dash's drifting was ridiculous.

Morrigan
After 15 years, she's gone. She was responsive to me, even when sick. It happened quickly so I was glad. I started worrying when she was stumbling. I just told myself that, because of her age, it was going to happen soon. However, it's always tough to face.

I don't want to explain everything, but I can't consider myself a good dog owner. However, she was a very good dog.

I still need to talk about PSYCHO PASS and Nobunaga.

Here's to Smash Bros! The announcer is the best, and he needs to come back for Smash 4 to shout the title.

Absolutely loved it. Considerable improvement from N64 (no duh?)
doggiedynasty: (The Ban Stare)
I am probably a couple hours in, from Skyloft to Faron.

In later games of this series, say Ocarina of Time and afterward (can't remember the feel of Windwaker), the 3-D Zeldas have been infamous for their controls?

I'm thinking that this is something I will get accustomed to sooner or later, but I nearly got killed by a Deku Baba. And I found myself having to press Z (the trigger) button often just to get Link to FACE a particular direction because the camera won't follow you no where but forward. Maybe 45 degrees POV or less. I think this also happened while playing Twilight Princess.

I call this game WII FII SKYWARD SWORD! because my god, the controls!

LOVELY ideas, especially when I am such a suck for something based on air travel, it's the damn controls! Wii Remote makes me fear playing battle games because it's sensor-based. It works mostly well in Monster Farm and I'm doing great on that game, so that's why I felt that I might get used to it.

SO FAR! It's aggravating. Back to why I title it "WII FIT!" I thought my arm was gonna fall off during the LoftWing race. My goodness; the sensor doesn't entirely pick up my hand movements so you mind end up diving rather than whatever. Since the bird replaces the horse, I should expect battles in the future.

THEN! There is Skydiving. Great concept; it actually looks (feels?) like skydiving where you have to lean to change your direction. However, when it comes to the first time, Zelda has to put you in the agony of skydiving with little height. It is very stubborn controlling. The Wii Remote isn't perfect and I still don't get it.

NOW there's the combat, which is very interesting even though a little stressful. Really gets you committed in trying hard. And spin slash is easy too. I still have to work on the sword and shield. For now, the shield is almost like a piece of paper. The combat can cause some difficulty to my surprise. Like with the Deku Baba, you have the slash correctly and at the right time. Weaknesses have to be exploited. OF course, sensor/motion system isn't perfect. I might end up charging the sword and stalling rather than slashing horizontally.

The graphics don't seem better than Twilight Princess. If so, they are very subtle. It seems lighter. The setting starts in the sky, a floating island called Skyloft, where the people jump off of tall heights and land on birds that serve as their mounts. It's a bright feeling, kind of like Windwaker. Smash Brothers gets better treatment IMO.

Now there's the bloody "WHERE IS [name here]?!"

Along with MonHun, Mario 3 and SS, I'm also playing Link to the Past. Old School Zelda was about going wherever with little detail on where to do and how to get there; SS has me using a Seek function with my sword. And so far, and just so far, I found myself not going much of anywhere even when using Seek. In other words, why use Seek when destination is usually short and straightforward? I hope this changes later.

In Link To the Past (and first Zelda even), it's a little frustrating. You use your map, facing enemies on the way, moving from one region to another. Especially in Dark World, I wonder "Wait, how do I get there?! How do I get in?"

My opinion on SS should change later I hope. Hard to say if I should accept this "lack of adventuring" or not considering it's kind of bother in Past. Especially when looking for items. It is fun though.

Man fired after note to boss goes viral

Kiddo-Munchkin niece is sick and will probably stay with me all day.

Today's topic is "leaders" and what makes them? Including in game management. I guess it's a part of my week since I heard some talk about managers. And, I had a small talk with someone about "gamemasters".

Is there a difference between "reflecting by number of years or by your position" and "reflecting by your character"? When you're an adult, you're so stubborn and too used to your regular style. "I know what I'm doing" type of mindset. One can be stuck with a particular manner for many years w/o consequence.

If you're doing your duty, and honored by how much you do ("much" as in "amount"), do you still think you're allowed to behave how you wish? I try to see myself as a rookie all the time. There's always something to learn or to be reminded of occasionally.

The terms "success" and "being good" come with different meanings.

Next entry, I think I'll talk about another fiction I made since it's five years old.

Weather sucks. Super polar Michigan land. I don't think I'm comfortable driving until peak Spring. Even when the sun is out, I don't want to push on the gas too much due to the accident.

Considering my poor entries recently, maybe I should blog something good. I seriously wanted to throw some chairs yesterday.

Anyways, I've been considering on purchasing FINAL FANTASY TACTICS. Oh wow, the PSP website just gave me nostalgic goosebumps. It has been a long time that I've played the game, and it's one of the games that I have an urge to return to. The same goes with Legend of Zelda: Windwaker.

However, I read a couple of reviews on FFT that criticized it, and they made me remember a few things about the game such as the lack of character non-combat interaction (during travel. Doesn't seem important. Less than Tactics Orge??), bad ally AI, useless spell casting due to enemy movement and time casting (HASTE! HASTE!), and of course the difficulty. Also, the party members are limited and the enemy can outnumber you, which is unfair. I like being attached to my party especially since you can hire/recruit the members.

I didn't get far enough to get immersed into the story. I can't even remember what happened in Vagrant Story.

TO quote a reviewer: "Fire Emblem is tactics". I have to agree there. FE is dangerous!

But I think FFT is in the same league as Monster Hunter: the difficulty bugged me so much that I want to push myself to succeed against it. Push myself to practice, and to return to what I didn't complete, to return to what I desired because I felt like I was playing a potentially good game.

I also played FFT Advance which was equally addicting. The story was shallow, but I guess I got sucked in by my "hard work syndrome". I like to be rewarded.

Just like recently in Monster Hunter: Got me a rare bowgun frame for entering a dangerous environment and surviving ^-^; MH is annoying that it makes me collecting materials over and over again for particular weapons/armor, which means hunting so many big monsters and hoping that I get them. Ugh. However, I am doing great against Lagiacrus. I am improving. That's what I like: Proof that I can improve.

I'll make my decision tomorrow. bill time...

My paycheck stinks and I want to get Windwaker and Skyward Sword. Maybe Okami and Muramasa. there's still a lot of older games I haven't played. Even in the Pokemon Series.

Remember my seiyu meme? Day 11's question was: The seiyuu with the best singing voice.

Here's my Horie Mitsuko (堀江 美都子). The theem is called "Growing Up", the opening to "My daddy Long Legs", based on the novel of the same name. Horie starred in three World Masterpiece Theater shows, singing for them. In MDDL, she voices Judy. I think I want the soundtrack.

Remember that video I showed about fans reacting to Kingdom Hearts 3? I was so impressed. In addition, the orchestral music of Shimomura Yoko makes it even more amazing.

The same can be said about the fans of Katsuki Masako (and Sailor Moon), who has been appearing live recently. She deeply affected fans with her personality and singing voice and pretty face? ooh la la.. I wish I could relay my thoughts to Japan.

MONSTER HUNTER Tri GAMING RAMBLE
I'm not sure how long it's been - three or four weeks? Now I understand why the MH series is at the popularity level that it is, and yet Tri's potential is considerably reduced. I almost notice the lack of monsters as I go through the different quests and Moga Woods. Despite that, it does live up to the series's name and it was a good introduction for me.

After a long time, a game that provokes my ambitious spirit. Monsters are exactly what they are: Monsters. And you're going to struggle! And when you fight, you can't suppress the adrenaline.

Some spoilers on what I've been through so far )

Windaria
Watched Fairy Tail War Windaria (童話めいた戦史ウインダリア) a couple weeks ago

I haven't had a good cry in a while. After watching the movie, I was sick. I needed a friggin' pillow.

The ending theme Utsukushii Hoshi (美しい星; beautiful star) was sung by the one and only Akino Arai. Before watching this movie, the theme didn't effect me so deeply. With her voice, she can easily move me, but the lyrics combined with the movie's events, the song has a different outlook. It's almost unbearable, heartrending, but nevertheless a beautiful song.

I thought, "what's with this song?" (watches movie and sees lyrics) "Oh Geezus...(;___;)"

Isn't it popular?

Kamen Rider W
hoshigaki

I picked Kisame because...well, due to NARUTO's international fame. Quite abruptly and to my surprise, Dan Tomoyuki has left this world.

To my disappointment...shortly after his death, and I'm talking like a week or two later, I finally meet his character. And I love a revenge story every now and then (Ryuu Terui is such a jerk). But now..

but now...

It's like my posthumous memory of this man will be a wacko doing clinical examinations to monsters. ^_^; And it's kind of erotic? #LOLWHUT Heh, I'm sure he enjoyed himself though. Can't wait to see W memory. Goodbye, Dan-san.

Gundam Build Fighters
I can't remember if I talked about this show or not, but I just can't believe me (LOL). Everybody complained about it before it aired. For a show about toys and tournaments, isn't it surprisingly ardent? And I feel like a total geek recognizing A LOT of the models. Mr. Ral is right - the person's passion isn't just from fighting with gunpla, but with building. It's all fun."

"NO COLLECTION, BOY! NO COLLECTION!" It became a fun show quickly.

[ Gaming Status ]

It came a few days ago!. Everyone else is playing Pokemon X/Y; I'm always behind or under a rock. But I don't have the money. I can't get WiiU or 3DS or 2DS.

but I've always been behind or late because I don't plan correctly.

Makes me question how I'm living. Being a gamer enthusiast and occasional babysitter. If I had a family, I'd be screwed because we can't take life for granted.

Even if the number of monsters available are greatly reduced compared to the other games of the series, I can say that I have a lot to do. And I need a lot of time. I still don't like the Wii being sold short. MonHun Tri was a chance to break MonHun into a new home console outside of the PS series. But then, WiiU gets the good treatment.

Back to what I've experienced so far: Armors, weapons, quests, resources, and status that makes me have to check the manual and hunter notes maybe three to five times. Because it's redundant. Why do I need to know about how much decimal amount is in a gun's recoil? And there's three parts to a bowgun.

The weapon variety is pretty neat, but since I'm using a Wii Remote, I need a lot of practice, especially with the heavy weapons. It seems easy to control and it feels exciting to miss the monsters. They're actually pesky and that actually shows me that I have work to do. Many of the herbivores are swift, so it's a bit annoying to hunt small monsters with heavy weapons such as hammers and great swords.

And hitting a monster is satisfying too. I did so many battle cries while swinging a heavy sword. "TOH!" "URAAAH!" "GET IT!" There's this big smash you hear when you hit. I just recently tried out a small bowgun. Apparently, a gunner's pouch is separate from the blademaster pouch and you need to pack the former with BOTH ammo and useful items. In other words, the BM items don't transfer to gunnar pouch. I could be wrong.

Before deciding on getting MonHun Tri, I thought of becoming a gunner first. But the BOWGUN WAS TOO EXPENSIVE.

The lance is pretty cool.

Probably the most unnerving thing I've faced so far is the underwater system. K-sensei (Katsuki Masako) didn't like it either. In various games, going underwater really gives you a sense of being confined or in an unknown world. With spectacular visuals in gaming these days, that's a definite. I still have to work on it.

On the cover of the MonHun 3 box art is the water monster Lagiacrus (ラギアクルス), which you see early in the game UNFORTUNATELY. It is a demon. The darned thing actually scared me, AND I had a problem with the swimming controls. Especially if I panic. It's so bad that you have to carefully look through the unclear water WITH A DRAGON IN IT!, and make escape plans. Furthermore, while in Lagia's territory, you have to hunt another monster to get its items.

Scary, but unique feeling that I haven't felt before.

According to MonsterHunter Wikia:

MonHun FREEDOM
# Small Monsters: 13
# Large Monsters: 31
# Total Monsters: 44

MONHUN 4 (3DS)
# Small Monsters: 20
# Large Monsters: 51
# Total Monsters: 71

3 Ultimate (WiiU/PSP)
# Small Monsters: 22
# Large Monsters: 51
# Total Monsters: 73

Portable 3rd (PSP)
# Small Monsters: 20
# Large Monsters: 40
# Total Monsters: 60

MONSTER HUNTER Tri/3 (Wii)
# Small Monsters: 17
# Large Monsters: 18
# Total Monsters: 35

Always selling Wii and Gamecube so low. So, I only get 35 monsters. The majority of the games have over 60.

Where did all of the data, which could process Smash Brawl, go?!

FOCUS!

It's a new week.

Somehow, I'm going to try enjoying myself. Also, working on healthcare.

So, I have a few video game goals in mind, along with the insecurity of having and saving enough money. So, here's what's been wracking my brain:

- Zelda: Skyward Sword (In Bestbuy and GameStop, around $40 - 50. Good deal)
- Monster Hunter Tri (On Amazon for $20-something. Might have to buy the classic controller)
- Zelda Windwaker for Gamecube (EFFIN' EXPENSIVE on Amazon!)

3DS is WAY too much, of course. It makes me so sad, especially with POKEMON XY (ポケットモンスター X・Y) coming out. Maybe I dislike my paycheck more?

I'm going to give myself at least two weeks for Monster Hunter. Still, thinking about it. But I'm still stuck on Lego Star Wars and Mario Kart, the latter I still have secrets to unlock. I have YET to figure out how to beat the time Trials, which really annoys me. That's why I keep playing because I love racing.

Also, still obsessed in getting my 'THE FISH" rank on Breath of Fire 3. Since I'm in the bigger fishes, they're rarer. Really cuts down my findings when I want to catch the BIGGEST RAREST fishes.

Vid time. I LOVE their reaction to Mario Cat =D(EDIT: WRONG VID)

Note to self: Make a spoiler tag.

I was considering on posting another "Sonic memory" (#7) entry today, I just need to figure out which game. So right now I am making a list of the entries I've previous made. When I make a new one, I'll come back and update the list.

I just noticed! I just noticed that I made two for Sonic CD! Why did I do that?!?!

[ SONIC MEMORIES ]
ABOUT: In June 2011, Sonic the Hedgehog turned 20 years old and on Twitter, Sega wanted everyone to share their memories of Sonic under the hashtag #sonic20th. I thought that I had too much to share, so I wanted to blog my expressions on the Sonic games that I played.

Memory I: Sonic The Hedgehog
Memory II: Sonic 2
Memory III: Sonic 3
Memory IV: Sonic Spinball
Memory V: Sonic & Knuckles
Memory VI: Sonic CD (Another one)

Lack of munchkin niece this week, for ONCE, because one parent is a spiteful idiot. Big surprise there. Such a shame; all I can do is NOT talk about anything nice. Just have low expectations and that's terrible.

However, despite "peaceful days", I've been so tired. The week has been cool and rainy on and off, so did it contribute to me wanting to nap?

Also, having awful dreams when I'm in a lot of arguments and getting insulted. In one, I got fired for forgetting something.

Yeah, I think that definitely reflects IRL: being forgetful when I'm busy with caught in something else. But why are the dreams becoming so disheartening recently?

Also, more coughing fits?

[ I WANT A 3DS! ]
Pokemon XY new Reveals

Look at this stuff!

I have got to give Tajiri Satoshi some credit. Whether anyone thinks that he's milking the Pokemon series or not, he's been dedicated to its theme and evolution. All it does is rile up my curiosity, especially since I've been so behind for so long. And I'm just tired of not trying out new things.

No one's too young or old to play games. Also, I want to try out Monster Hunter (there's one on the Wii...) and maybe Animal Crossing?

Liking the new Blaziken (Bashamo)

Lucario vs M2.

So, Genesect in the new movie? Does that mean it's a mega type?

[ Breath of Fire 3 ]
Because I didn't have to babysit for a while, I spent free time returning to video gaming. I still have a fishing quest to do on Breath of Fire III: To achieve THE FISH rank (9999 pts). I still can't believe that I found that GKS months before (photo here!). And I still have to find it in Breath of Fire IV. In MOST cases, I don't challenge side quests like for special items, but I've decided to this time.

Name of fish that I caught, and the largest size:
MartianSquid (80 cm)
Blowfish (20 cm) Missed it somehow...
Octopus (70 cm)
Mackerel (70 cm)

I was looking for the Black Porgy (60cm) too, but I can't remember if I caught it.

[ Tokusatsu ]
Picked up two new Kamen Rider series: OOO and W

OOO is extremely weird. ;) I'm gonna assume that the medals in us were made from carbon. The theme of OOO is greed and medals (core and cell types); and Irino Miyu voices Ankh, who for now, appears as just a creepy looking hand.

And Kamen Rider Wizard is almost done, yet it still feels so mysterious. But, a magician can't reveal its secrets though right?

[ SEIYA: THE HADES ERA! ]
After years of consideration, I've finally watched and completed the OVA Hades Saga of Saint Seiya. I'm glad it's over. I don't think I want to watch anything Seiya-related FOR A WHILE, except Omega.

[livejournal.com profile] hanagoke was right...

I like Morita Mazakazu, and I know that he likes Furuya Toru and Seiya, and he wants to play heroes like Furuya does, but I don't recommend him as Seiya. Man, the Bronze Saints sounded terrible (Hyoga, Shun, Seiya, Shiryu, Ikki). Sakurai Takehiro was Shiryu, and was maybe half good at times.

Seiya? Absolutely abrasive.

Hyoga...I liked Hashimoto's Hyoga, and this new guy was terrible. I don't like Konoshi-Ikki that much either; he lacks a bit of dignity.

And how am I supposed to find Master Camus believable? Who, in this version, is voiced by Kanna Nobutoshi.

Who thought of this casting?! Shiryu could not be helped I know, but they could've picked someone better. Least someone who could make things a BIT comfortable to listen to? Fortunately, Narita Ken voices Shiryu in SS Omega. So much better.

AND I WAS THREE EPS AT A DAMN WALL!

I liked Hashimoto Kouichi's Cygnus Hyoga for having a cool head and a passionate dignity in his performance. When he fights, he's entertaining. Hashi sounds like he probably did martial arts before.

Shun was...well, take some time getting used to. He sounds like a big baby; I don't want to spoil any more though.

Here's a good point: SEIYA FINALLY GIVES A CRAP ABOUT HIS SISTER!

Also, Furukawa Toshio as Thanatos.
